I originally went to the Toyota dealership in Milford and had an awful experience. I was referred to visit the Wallingford dealership because they are known for their excellent service and I was not dissapoi had an awful experience. I had spoken to his boss, who I cannot remember the name of to tag in this, but he was very kind as well, had informed Dan of my car of interest and Dan had it pulled up and ready for me. He was Funny, attentive, very knowledgeable and very reassuring that my choice wasn't going to be met with dissapointment. Upon the walk around of my vehicle, I noticed the car had scratches on it, and Dan personally made sure that it was taken care of along with other things I wanted addressed, he took care of it without hesitation. I would recommend anyone who goes to this dealership to request him. Gloria had helped me with my financing, answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. She made herself approachable and very easy to talk to, which was a nice change considering it seems like normally when you meet people who work in financing are miserable. But she is a very happy person. The only put off issue I had with my experience was with this man named Frank who is not the same man listed above, he is supposedly the head sales associate. I had never met him before and he approached me with such a rude attitude and honestly spoke out of turn to me. When I turned to him for an explanation for his tone he shook me off. He then began to speak to Dan in such a deragatory, condesending manner that I did not appreciate. I honestly do not know how he works in sales and it seemed that by the scene that he made for quite a while, that no one in the building seemed surprised by his behavor and kind of just shook it up to thats just how he is. If I ever need any help with my vehicle in the future and I walk in and that man is the only one there, I will just wait until anyone else is available. Other than that, I will make sure to recommend this dealership to anyone. :) More

I purchased a used 2012 Tundra. It was taken in on trade on or around August 1st of 2012. I took delivery of used truck on 11/3/12. Upon taking delivery I was informed that there was only 1 key & key fob to on or around August 1st of 2012. I took delivery of used truck on 11/3/12. Upon taking delivery I was informed that there was only 1 key & key fob to the truck! I went back inside & spoke with Dan Roberts and Stuart Heisler about this and asked for a 2nd key and key fob. I was told in front of a room full of people that Stuart would get right on it and have Steve Zion look into the matter and would have more information on the following Monday. Monday came & went with no phone call. I then called Dan Roberts and he informed me that they had contacted the previous owner who found the missing key & key fob and would bring it to them ASAP.I would then be contacted to arrange for pick up or for them to drop in mail to me. Well , needless to say here it is 11/27/12 and I have left multiple voicemails for Dan Roberts to call me back regarding this. No return calls.I can not get connected to Steve Zion , jr or Sr. I called again on Friday 11/23/12 was put in touch with Frank Mikolike and was promised that he would look into the matter and get back to me on Monday 11/26/12. Again no call back. I called today 11/27/12 and was bounced around their phone system and left another message for Frank Mikolike and have not heard anything. It was noted in the car fax report that the truck had no accidents reported. My wife's keen Eye picked up 2 vertical sub surface ripples in the passenger side of the pick up bed. I asked Frank about it and asked if it was covered under the certified used warranty , he said" The truck was perfect, I dont know what you are talking about", I said well there are these vertical ripples in the bed on one side, I said thats not perfect, Will toyota give me a new bed? he laughed at me!! I said but it should not be like this or CAR FAX should have had something on this.... he said well I would need to see it and I'll be in touch on Monday........no call...... More

I have had excellent experiences with this dealer, since I bought a new RAV4 in 2005. The car had NO problems, and I traded it in for a 2012 RAV4, just after my warranty ended. I wish this website worked as well as the people at Toyota of Wallingford do. This is my second attempt to express my opinion. Dan, Stu and Gloria provided me with a buying experience that is unsur Toyota of Wallingford do. This is my second attempt to express my opinion. Dan, Stu and Gloria provided me with a buying experience that is unsurpassed in my 36 years of purchasing automobiles. I was treated like family there. They are very good listeners and as a result, no time was wasted in determining my needs and offering choices to meet them. We were able to put together a nice package in short order. Dan and Stu are very good at what they do and it shows. Even when I was ready to pick up the car my expectations were exceeded. I have often in the past called this portion of the transaction "the dreaded paperwork" but not at this dealership. Dan had informed Gloria ahead of time about my horror stories of being bogged down for hours on end at other dealerships. Well Gloria made sure that did not happen in this dealership. Before I could finish the hot cup of coffee that she graciously provided , I was finished and ha Ethernet keys to my new Rav 4 in my hands. Meanwhile Dan had already affixed my plates and was ready to give me the run down on the proper operation of the vehicle controls, even the subtle nuances of the vehicle that included the drive train systems and how to operate the blue tooth interface. I highly recommend this dealership and plan to purchase another new vehicle from them in the spring of 2013. Oh and the Rav4? A superior vehicle to the CRV that my wife and I had previously owned.
