Bexar County Justice Court awarded me a judgment against Shottenkirk Toyota for Deceptive Trade Practices. Here are the details. A Shottenkirk technician recommended replacing the AC condenser, which wou Shottenkirk Toyota for Deceptive Trade Practices. Here are the details. A Shottenkirk technician recommended replacing the AC condenser, which would have been a costly and unnecessary repair. Injecting a dye into the Freon gas is the proper method to detect a leak, which the technician did not perform. During my service visit regarding the Venza, I expressed my concern to the service representative that the air conditioner fails to cool effectively while in EV mode or when the vehicle is idling. In contrast, it performs exceptionally well in other situations. Given this, it was unnecessary to replace the AC condenser. My son researched and discovered that during Toyota's recall of the "Electronic Stability Control Module Software," some technicians neglected to reconnect the engine cooling fan harness. Your dealership performed the recall service but failed to reconnect this harness. According to information from Reddit, after I plugged in the harness, the air conditioner now cools when running in the EV mode or while idling. More

I was at the dealership yesterday after spending time at the hospital with my pet, and I received a call inviting me to come in and finalize the deal for the car I'd been working on. I took the time to go i the hospital with my pet, and I received a call inviting me to come in and finalize the deal for the car I'd been working on. I took the time to go in and sign the paperwork, given the circumstances I was in. However, out of nowhere, Cody, the general manager, called to inform me that the car I had signed for was no longer available. This is completely unacceptable. I had been negotiating for days to secure that specific car, and I expect the dealership to honor our agreement. Not only am I writing this review, but I will also be escalating this matter to Ethos HR because this behavior is beyond unprofessional. I signed for that specific car and invested significant time in this process, only to be told that they don’t want to sell it to me. I was never informed that the car was sold; it’s clear they are merely choosing not to follow through on the sale. The general manager should not be engaged in deceptive practices by claiming the car is sold when it is not, simply because they don’t want to complete the sale with me. I demand accountability and a resolution to this situation. More
