Went in for a broken gas door.

claude25, we understand you were in last week for a broken gas door last week and that repair was completed for you. You returned because your rear hatch button not properly working. The two repairs are unfortunate but not related.
While there is some commonality with the mounting brackets of rear hatch switch braking from every day use, (on this model of pathfinder), it has not reached a level where Nissan has put it on recall. Our service manager has shared that he personally explained this and worked with you by not only discounting the repair substantially but also going to another dealership to buy the part needed in an effort to expedite the repair because you needed the work completed the same day.
We're sorry that you're unhappy and disappointed you are unhappy with our efforts.

I get it , everything is high cost wise, however, when you have a ride one has to roll with the punches. I had no idea that the maintenance checkup would cost over S1000.00. I know that I needed new tires and I was on a tight budget, however, with old man winter coming I couldn't put it off any longer. BJ kept me posted on what was going on with my SUV. He was also the one who recommended me to get a new set of tires. I tried to put it off, however, he went out of his way to give me the best cost on a new set. I couldn't say "NO". I wasn't too pleased with the total cost which included the 30,000 mile maintenance check and a new set of tires, but guess what, " my SUV runs a nice more smoother !". Thanks BJ

mccalestermichelle, we're sorry that there was a disconnect between our online scheduling system and the instore calendar. As you'd imagine the person accepting the phone calls doesn't decide if we have room for the day, they are responding to the direction from the service team. Often when the 'walk-in' traffic exceeds the 'scheduled' traffic we can have a difference in the available slots for the day. We used to book heavy and then people complained that we were too slow. In any case we are very sorry that you are unhappy and hope you will give us another chance to earn your business.
