Hi, Richard. We were surprised to see this review especially since we did try and help by discounting the repair for you. You also approved all repairs and your daughter picked up the vehicle with no complaints. We are regretful to learn of your impression of our dealership, our team, and our service advisor. The dealership works with the manufacture for any manufacturing defects, the manufacturer decides what is covered by warranty or recall not the dealership and any recalls and warranty repairs due to a manufacturer defect or safety issue must be approved by NissanUSA. Since your daughters vehicle is out of warranty we offered to call Nissan Consumer Affairs to see if they could help with the costs of repair. Our service manager Craig reached out to you and was able to provide you with more information so that you understood the service being performed on your daughter's vehicle. You indicated you understood the information you were provided with and gave the approval to complete the work on the vehicle. Craig talked to Mike the General Manager and told him based on the conversation that everything was fine and that you understood the repairs being done. You may still contact Nissan Consumer Affairs at (800) NISSAN-1 to create a case regarding this issue to see if any possibility of be reimbursed something from them.
