It took two attempts to find a leaking tire. They had the tire off twice. They had zero communication. That caused me to have to follow up multiple times. Terrible customer service. I brought my truck in because I was told it had an oil leak. The dealership ordered a new tube/line and scheduled me to come back for the repair. When I returned, they replaced the part and fixed the leak leak. The dealership ordered a new tube/line and scheduled me to come back for the repair. When I returned, they replaced the part and fixed the leak, which initially seemed fine. However, when I went to leave the dealership, my steering wheel was suddenly very difficult to turn and made a clicking noise when turning left. My truck had no steering issues at all before bringing it in. I mentioned this to the service staff, but I was told that since they “only removed the oil pan and installed the new hose line,” they would have to charge me $120–$150 just to diagnose the problem. I declined, because the issue clearly appeared immediately after the repair. Instead, I drove to another shop in Nashville where I normally have work done. They took a look at it free of charge and quickly discovered that the new hose line installed during the repair was routed incorrectly and was interfering with the steering rack, which is why the wheel would not turn properly. Once they moved the line out of the way, the truck drove perfectly again. I appreciate that the oil leak itself was repaired, but it’s concerning that a new issue was created during the repair and that I was then asked to pay additional diagnostic fees to investigate a problem that occurred immediately after the service.
