I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent
service experience with my vehicle.
I initially brought my car in for a check engine light issue and was informed that the problem was caused by t

I initially brought my car in for a check engine light issue and was informed that the problem was caused by the gas cap. However, I made it clear at the time that I did not believe the gas cap was the cause. Despite this, I was advised that it was the issue and the repair was completed.
Shortly after, the same check engine code reappeared, which required me to bring my vehicle back in for further inspection. During the second visit, a different issue was identified, and I was charged an additional diagnostic fee.
I am concerned and disappointed that the root cause of the problem was not properly identified during the initial visit. I believe that all issues related to the check engine code should have been thoroughly diagnosed the first time, especially since I had already expressed concerns about the gas cap diagnosis.
As a result, I do not feel it is fair that I was required to pay a second diagnostic fee for what appears to be an incomplete or inaccurate initial assessment. I would appreciate a review of this situation and a reconsideration of the additional charges.
