Typical dealership service department; any excuse to steal your money. Took a 2022 F150 in for warranty service because the bed camera no longer works. Tech took off the brake light housing, saw a pr steal your money. Took a 2022 F150 in for warranty service because the bed camera no longer works. Tech took off the brake light housing, saw a previous dealership had installed a brake light flasher on the brake light wiring, and claimed that it was the problem and they couldn't fix the camera. The camera, which has a separate wiring harness from the brake light, was inoperable because the "3rd party equipment" caused the failure. And then charged me $160 for the privilege of being blown off. Turns out the camera is overheating in the sun, and will fail if it's too hot. When it cools down, it works again. Replacing it with a new camera fixed the issue. **Updated: Talked to Jeff the service manager and he was super helpful and confused at why the situation even existed. He promised they’d make things right and had the parts on order. If the whole situation had gone this way from the start, this would be a 5 star review ***** More

Didn’t get a call when my vehicle was finished, they actually kept it an extra day. I was told they wrote down my number wrong. I’ve only ever serviced my truck at that dealership, they should have my number in their system. When I picked my truck up I was given my key and told it was somewhere out in the lot. I had to walk around the lot for a couple of minutes looking for it. We own a Mini Cooper as well. When that vehicle gets serviced they wash it and bring it right up out side the service door. Completely different customer service on a car that cost half as much. I generally keep my expectations low so I’m not upset when they aren’t met. The crew at Interstate Ford unfortunately kept that bar low. The service advisor was nice, but I certainly didn’t walk out feeling like I was a valued customer. More

Simple and common Sync 3 processor replacement had me using a very bad system for over a month while they waited for a courtesy vehicle even though Ford would have been on contract to rent a vehicle. It took 2 attempts to fix, the first they thought a software update would fix an obvious hardware issue. They tried to charge the extended warranty deductible the second time I brought it in to be fixed, even though they failed to fix it the first time. Although they didn't charge the amount in the end, it felt very scammy to have the charge there in the first place, as an expectation I wouldn't argue and they'd get an extra $100. Art did okay overall but could have pushed the rental vehicle to get the very bad system replaced sooner. For Ford, they should be offering to replace the Sync 3 system with something that actually works. Sync 3 is the worst feature of any car I've ever driven or owned. More

I’m extremely dissatisfied with the service at Interstate Ford. I picked up my truck two weeks after dropping it off, only to be told the issues were resolved, but I’m still experiencing the same problems. T Ford. The service advisor isn’t understanding my frustration or making any effort to relate to what I’m going through. He should be putting himself in my shoes. When I bought the truck, I was assured it could be serviced anywhere, but SiltherHar rejected my service request. It feels like Interstate Ford is upset with me for the issues I’m facing and is unwilling to deal with them. More

The first time I tried to make an appointment I asked for a loaner because they wanted my car for 2 days, they said all their loaners were out and they would put me on a wait list. After waiting a month I c a loaner because they wanted my car for 2 days, they said all their loaners were out and they would put me on a wait list. After waiting a month I called again was told again they needed the car for 2 days so I asked for a loaner again and the service manager informed me that they didn't have loaners and only supplied a shuttle up to 15 miles. I guess if you buy a car from them and you live more then 15 miles away and need a ride your SOL. Maybe they should only sell cars to people who live in a 15 mile radius so they could provide the proper service for their customers. More
