I didn’t feel that anything about this car was explained to us. We are pretty much left trying to figure it out ourselves and there’s so much to understand about the technology. No one ever followed up to s to us. We are pretty much left trying to figure it out ourselves and there’s so much to understand about the technology. No one ever followed up to send us an envelope to send our trade in spare key back, no one ever reached out to set up an appt to buff out the large scratch that they gave it to us with and our car was BRAND NEW. Bait and Switch – Dishonest and Unprofessional I recently had a frustrating experience at Highland Volkswagen that felt like a classic bait-and-switch. On March 3, Anthony Williams (Sales Manager) r recently had a frustrating experience at Highland Volkswagen that felt like a classic bait-and-switch. On March 3, Anthony Williams (Sales Manager) reached out, claiming they would buy me out of my lease due to a shortage of used vehicles. This seemed like a good opportunity, so I made time to visit the dealership. Ultimately, I agreed to purchase the vehicle at a 5% interest rate, and it was left for recertification while I was given a loaner. Fast forward to March 14, Anthony suddenly asked me to return to sign paperwork, claiming the original deal’s timing was off. I explained that my time was limited, but when I arrived at 3 PM as planned, I was left waiting for over an hour with no communication. After repeated attempts to get an update, I finally requested to speak with a manager. That’s when Sam Lotta (GM) came out. Unlike Anthony, he actually took the time to listen, apologized for the situation, and even offered to fill my gas tank for the inconvenience. I told him it wasn’t about getting something for free—I just wanted to be treated properly and given some kind of communication. Sam was very professional and assured me he would look into the matter to get things resolved. Despite Sam’s efforts, Anthony Williams still left me waiting another 30 minutes before finally coming out—with no apology. Instead, he directed me to finance, where I learned they wanted to increase my payment by over $50 and raise my interest rate! Thankfully, James Thomas (Finance Manager) was honest and upfront about the dealership’s mistake. He acknowledged that Anthony mishandled the deal and worked to make things right. Eduardo, the sales rep, was also unprofessional—never addressing me properly and instead bragging about how many cars he had sold. He knew I had been waiting but never bothered to check in. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and have always been a responsible customer, but this experience showed their true colors—greed, dishonesty, and terrible service. Sam Lotta was the only manager who showed professionalism, and James Thomas did his best to fix the issue, but the damage was done. Highland Volkswagen, you have lost a loyal customer. Anthony Williams and Eduardo, shame on you. More

While they were cordial enough, I would never have agreed to the add-on appearance protection plan if I'd known how much it would cost. $1,950 is insane. By the time I found out and objected, they told me it to the add-on appearance protection plan if I'd known how much it would cost. $1,950 is insane. By the time I found out and objected, they told me it was too late because they'd already begun spraying my car with it. It completely ruined the car buying experience for me and I am very upset. I can't enjoy my new car because this tainted the whole thing. I should have asked, of course, but they started before I had signed paperwork and then told me it was too late when I saw the charge. Shady, underhanded and financially very difficult for me to bear. More
