I was in need of a new (but not brand new) and reliable car due to my old car breaking down for about the 15th time. I had previously had a very good experience at Sunset Ford in Waterloo with a great and car due to my old car breaking down for about the 15th time. I had previously had a very good experience at Sunset Ford in Waterloo with a great and friendly salesperson, Joe Hill. I'm sorry, but I just don't trust my Ford dealer in the town I live in. Joe is very experienced with selling cars, he's very approachable and helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he took us on a drive in a 2018 Ford Explorer Limited, and then he looked up the Carfax info and printed it out for me. Well, I didn't waste any time, this car has a 3rd row, power everything, heated seats, rode real smooth on the highway and backroads (like I said, Joe is experienced and he knew to drive it on roads other than the highway so I could see how it handles on different roads). I knew this car was what I needed and wanted. Got the credit check going and then it was time to talk to Andrew White (Finance Manager). He was very helpful and explained everything to me in a way that I understood, and gave me advice on the different interest rates and a couple different ways I could pay for the vehicle (I'll be honest, my credit card usage is pretty high and he did his best to get me the best interest rate and deal possible). Signed all the paperwork, called my car insurance company (Progressive, which I think is the best) and got the Explorer added to my policy, and I drove it home that day! I've been driving it for over 2 weeks and I LOVE my new car. I would highly recommend Sunset Ford if you're ever in need of a vehicle, because I know from experience you can trust them and they will treat you right! More

I don’t know if I’ve ever said that buying a car was fun, but I truly have the best experience purchasing my new bronco from Joe Hill! He was patient, he stayed late for us, and he put up with my husband‘s but I truly have the best experience purchasing my new bronco from Joe Hill! He was patient, he stayed late for us, and he put up with my husband‘s nonstop dad jokes and entertaining hot takes on life like he enjoyed them (maybe he did…🤣). He was kind, courteous, and efficient. We went in knowing the exact vehicle that we wanted to purchase, But he still took the time to share the wealth of information that he had about the vehicle and showed us a little interesting things about it that we would’ve probably not noticed for months, if at all. He worked to honor the deal that was given to us by another dealership that dropped the ball and did so with grace. Thanks Joe!
