I told them I had a pre-approval with my bank and the finance manager convinced me to finance with them because they had a lower rate for me, I accepted the offer, then, Alvaro (The Finance Director) went over the optional add on’s. I stated to him I don’t want anything but GAP insurance. He was very persistent. After declining everything, he said he got an even lower rate and he started pushing these warranties again. I told him I am not interested in anything but the gap. finally, he let me go. For some reason my payments went up instead of being lower since he got me a “lower rate” he said the reason it went up was because of the GAP cost. He also told he me Gap covers oil changes. Why lie to my face and tell me GAP covers oil changes?? I’m sure it is illegal in the state of Virginia or any state in the US to forcefully sell packages to clients without them knowing. I left unhappy because I was not sure how GAP of $550 raised my payment 45 dollars more a month. I did not take delivery of the vehicle because I was unsure, and I knew Alvaro was not telling me the truth. When I got home, I went over the contract and the buyers order with my sister-in-law, to my surprise Alvaro had added a VEHCILE SERVICE CONTRACT AND A MAINTENANCE PACKAGE, two products that I told him I did not want over ten times from the very start. On Monday the 21st, I went to the dealership to have them change the contract without the products, and remember, I didn’t even take the car home. when we asked for the finance director (Alvaro) they told us he was on his way, then all the sudden another finance manager came to tell us he was on vacation. I told him all I wanted was to change my contract without those two products they didn’t tell me about. He said they couldn’t change the contract because it was already sent to the bank and there was nothing they could do about it. So, I asked to speak to the finance director, we got him on the phone and told my sister-in-law to talk to him because I was way too upset to interact with him. He told my sister-in-law he will not change the contract and he does not care if we walk away from the deal, he also mentioned he’s been running the store for 15 years and nobody tells him what to do. After such a bad experience with this guy, I wanted to speak to the GM, which he never showed up instead they told us to speak to the GSM (Tariq) As soon as we asked to talk to him, he went off on my sister-in-law in the showroom without even knowing why we were there, very rude and raising his voice at us in the showroom. Then when I explained to him what had happened, he said his finance team was wrong for telling us they couldn’t change the contract and he said he could fix it. At this point I was furious with such poor customer services after they lied to me and put extra stuff on my contract without even knowing. I didn’t even argue the price of the car or anything, but they decided to treat me poorly after buying cars from them. this was the worst experience ever with almost the whole dealership except my salesperson Michael, he was great. The GM never showed up after I asked to speak with him. BUYERS BE AWARE, THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More

I'm a fairly demanding guy, and like to bargain even bank rates! No pressure and I was off the lot in a few hours. Very professional and personable individuals, no hovering but extremely attentive. Traveling from my Woodbridge Office to the Dealership was the most challenging part of the trip. Gents, thanks to you I'm enjoying my Yukon Denali. Ray More

Great Car Buying Experience My husband and I had an awesome car buying experience when we purchased my new GMC Acadia. The customer service we received from our sales consultant My husband and I had an awesome car buying experience when we purchased my new GMC Acadia. The customer service we received from our sales consultant Earl Jones was so exceptional that when my husband decided to purchase a new car, Earl at Koons of Tysons was our only choice. We called Earl with a long list of specifications on the vehicle we were interested in. He called us right back to let us know he found the perfect match, everything we asked for was there down to the color and the trim. Earl even had the car parked at the front door when we arrived. He walked us through the whole sales process, answered all our questions, and ensured we got all the discounts we qualified for. His General Sales Manager John Gribbins worked with us to come up with a fair price for our trade-in vehicle. He also worked with us on the pricing of the new vehicle. Their only goal was to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Anything they could do to make the process easy and enjoyable they did. There’s no better team to work with. Earl and John took care of everything, all we had to do was go to the finance office and sign the paperwork. Even our finance officer Al Rodriguez was awesome he had everything ready. He went over the contracts and got us out quickly. If you’re looking to purchase a vehicle and want exceptional customer service go to Koons of Tysons. Ask for Earl Jones and you’re guaranteed to have a great car buying experience. More
