We scheduled online a test drive with one of the sales person around 2 weeks back. When we arrived, the sale rep was over booked ( had 3 clients at same time) and so he didn't had time for us. Not sure person around 2 weeks back. When we arrived, the sale rep was over booked ( had 3 clients at same time) and so he didn't had time for us. Not sure why would they would book 3 clients at same time .. Anyhow another sales rep was assigned to work us. He was nice and did answer all our queries. However there was no followup done by him after the visit.Since the visit we have been looking online and requesting quotes for cars we like but response. Seems like they are not interested in selling cars when someone is ready to buy one. I even went to dealer rate site and sent a email to the sales rep. He responded back within few minutes but again after that no follow. Have emailed him few times and no response. Very unprofessional buck of people . Haven’t seen such a lack of customer service like this at other dealerships.. More

All credits Okay, where do I start? 6 stars if I could give. This is the most amazing and customer obsessed experience I have had at a dealership. All credits to Alon Katende and also Robert. I live in Philadelphia and the dealership is 90 miles away. We liked a car and wanted to get in on a Friday, 31st July 2020. 1. We drove a rental car 2 hours from philly to get to the dealership. Alon was in touch throughout to start the buying process and getting the car ready. (Sending a video tour and all) 2. We got there at 6:10, the dealership closes at 6pm. They patiently waited for us. Alon even let me do a test drive before we finalised the car. By the time we were done with the paperwork, it was already 8:10. 3. The best part, how do we get 2 cars back to philadelphia? Alon helped us drive the car back and we drove back in the rental. 96miles 2hours! We drove back to the Amtrak station close to our house and Alon took the train back at 10:30pm. He went so much out of his way to get this done. I think this is the best level of customer commitment I have ever seen. Smythe Volvo is lucky to have such a committed and down to earth employee. :) 4. Overall the process was transparent and there were no weird charges added to our car deal. (Other dealerships were pushing for lo-jack, some coating and what not boosting $1000) I will say this was a great car buying experience! More
