I'm OVER the top with the care and asthethics of my vehicles. Ceramic coatings are a staple, as well as weekly maintenance of the coating. Mechanical care is no less important, 3k mile oil changes, NEVER replace a part without upgrading and replacing stuff that eventually WILL break before it does is the key to making vehicles work FOR YOU. On the way home from my honeymoon, a stray tire left unsecured on someones vehicle bounced and hit my truck square in the grill. Even with Dash cam footage and the guys face, SC police apparently have too many accidents to try and actually investigate so I was left with a "hit and run" style accident. Progressive kinda sucked throughout this whole thing from leaving us on the side of the road to trying their hardest to ensure my trucks repair is as cheap as possible. My 2018 f150 went through 3 shops where it was CLEAR they were advocating for insurance and NOT me. All crap aftermarket parts from China etc. I plan on doing a lot more work to my truck and WILL NOT accept having problems down the road because cheap parts had to be "fitted" to make work. Enter Jones Ford, After a Caliber regional manager actually told me on the phone that they can't meet the quality demands I would have (like simply not having dust in the clear coat) they were going to move it yet again. We found Jones Ford and thankfully got someone by the name of Randy who really took charge and for the FIRST time I felt like someone was working for me and not progressive in lieu of me. While I wished it could be back to me faster, it seems the infrastructure out there is so bad the amount of accidents overflows the repair facilities. This was confirmed even before getting it there as we had issues finding places even able to accept work needing done any time soon. However, alll things considered, it could be worse and now that I have it back. I'm SO thankful and will NEVER drive my truck in that state ever again. I will literally park it in NC and rent through that hellhole state. :) For comparison to less apparently crappy states, I fell into my work cars open door during a winter storm, completely destroyed it and bent the fender panel which needed replaced along w/ the door, they had it back to me in 3 days. Either the state needs to invest dramatically in roadways, or a lot more body shops need to open out there ASAP. Anyways, all things that could be controlled by Jones Ford were handled professionally, and in a fairly timely fashion all things considered. Full disclosure, my late mother was a Karen and there were jokes that the "Karen stigma" was started by her and some now hidden youtube video :P That being said, when I feel like I'm not being handled in a way I feel appropriate, I speak out and the VERY few times I questioned anything with this process, they were not only responsive, but took the extra time and care to explain in honesty what parts are controlled by them, what red tape they have and when things are just out of their control. While I wouldn't want to ever have to deal with a car related problem in that state again, if I had to, I'd only trust Jones Ford. Also worth mentioning, if I didn't have a friend who'd kill me in my sleep if I bought from another Ford dealership, I would have been inclined to buy my next vehicle from them.

Avoid this dealership! I called about a vehicle before I traveled 45 minutes to see the vehicle. The sales rep never mentioned that there was very visible damage on both sides and the front end even though he called me back and said he was looking at the vehicle as we spoke. The damage does not appear in any of the photos online. Damage was consistant with being side swiped. I had asked when I called about the condition of the exterior and interior was was told no problems. I also asked about the recall on this vehicle from August involving the transmission as it was not showing on CarFax that it had been taken care of. The rep stated they didn't get the vehicle until September so it would of fallen on the previous owner to take care of the problem. When I persisted he said he would speak with the general manager, but he was sure that if there were a recall it was taken care of. When I arrived at the dealership and saw the damage I was upset. The sales rep said he didn't mention because he assumed that I was more concerned with the mechanics of the vehicle. When I brought up the recall involving the transmission he went to speak with the GM. Twenty minutes later he said a new transmission had been put in the vehicle, when I asked to see the records he then said the GM couldn't print the records but could show he the records on his computer. By the time we walked into the dealership the story had changed to there's a $1000 billing on the records but I don't have access and we have to wait until the Service Department comes in but I'm sure it's a transmission. Very shady that the GM wouldn't have access, that the new transmission wouldn't be listed (if it were put in due to the recall) on CarFax, and that I wasn't told about the damage before arriving. Also as we were leaving the salesperson said the GM said he thought the price was a misprint and should be higher...again shady as it was listed on 2 different sites. Then the salesperson said the dealership owner might have changed the price without letting the gm know. I can't imagine what else they hide at this dealership. Update 12/23/12 the dealership has now removed the price from their website and the vehicle is listed as call for price, but it's still listed the same on another popular auto sales site. Also I contacted Chrysler to complain and was told the VIN listed on both the dealer site and other site is not a valid VIN

My overall experience was so bad that there isn't enough room for everything to be put on here. Summary would be that the service dept. doesn't know how to work on cars or keep from damaging them while they are working on them. FRAUD would be the first word to come to mind. Don't take your vehicle there, you would really regret it.

I was really turned off by the entire experience when I stopped to browse. I was immediately bombarded by a sales person who "shared" with me that his supervisor would think he was "bucking the system" if I didn't speak to the finance manager, did not know anything about the vehicle I inquired about, then did not want to tell me the price of the vehicle (I guess vehicle prices are secret). Upon my pointing out that I was confused as to why he did not want to quote a sales price, he told me what he thought the price was (which was more than a new one would have cost). When I told him I was not ready to talk to the finance dept., the finance manager "happened" to be walking by where I was (outside). He became more aggressive the more I told him I wanted to shop around. He told me I only had a week to take advantage of the great deal (that no one was able to tell me what the deal was), but the opportunity would be gone in a week because he was going to Oklahoma, then became offended when I continued to say I wanted to shop around. I left that lot feeling so confused.
