Unfortunately, I came at 10 minutes before closing, but was greeted by service representative Mary, who obviously wanted to help me. I came back in the morning. She found me waiting, and managed to fit me into an already busy schedule. She went above and beyond the call of duty by sticking with me until the car was delivered the next day, soon after the new parts had arrived. This is consistent with the excellent service I have received from Porter Ford. I am a happy customer, and whenever I am in need of a new car, I will always begin my search at Porter. They deserve it.

I want to preface by saying, Brad seemed like a wonderful salesman. However, this dealership will never have my business. I had made an appointment to try out an explorer that had just come in. The price was reasonable, a little lower than the ones I had been looking at but still in the ball park. I tried it, liked it, went into the office to make a deal, when I was informed the price online was inaccurate. Okay, mistakes happen, that’s fine. The correct price was $13k MORE than the online price. Way out of my budget. They told me it was $41k but they’d give me a “deal” and it would be $39,900. Still not going to work for me. They tried to sell me on a lease which I wasn’t interested in, as well as sell me on another car that didn’t have the features I needed. I walked away frustrated at the fact I wasted my own time because of a clerical error that should’ve been checked when the appointment was made. The real kicker is, when I went to check on it again the following day, they had it priced at the “deal” they tried to give me. So, they tried to pretend it was $2,000 more than what they were actually pricing it at, and then try to sell it to me like I’m making out well on it. Disgusting and slimy behavior. Good luck to them trying to sell a car for $5,000 over the going rate. And only $6,000 less than a brand new, off the lot explorer. Stay far, far away. Do your research and know what the cars you’re looking at go for because they will try to rip you off. Lastly, women that go car shopping alone, don’t let these xxxxxxxx try to push you around.

Had a very good ordering and buying experience at John Kennedy Ford of Phoenixville. I worked with Dillon S and Jesus D provided some updates. Did the Final checkout with Jim M. Called and went into many other dealers in my area to order a 2024 Dark Horse most were playing the usual markup and allocation games. But at John Kennedy Ford of Phoenixville, they were truthful about the whole prosses they said it might not get built its up to Ford. But showed me they had an allocation on order and it was available to be changed to what I wanted. So, I went in and placed the order on 4/19/24 they did not even want a deposit I offered and they told me it is not needed. Almost all dealers want at least $500 down. Then on 5/22/24 I was updated that my order now received a vin this pretty much guarantees it will be built by Ford. At this point I asked if they wanted a deposit, they just replied back not to worry the Dark Horse is mine. they then gave me the vin so I could track it on fords build tracker I checked that thing like 50 times a day lol. They updated me along the way for all the build stuff like when the window sticker was available and when it was shipping out. Car was built from 8/12/24-8/18/24 it shipped out on 8/20/24 and got to them on 9/4/24 I picked it up the same day. They even followed all my special requests such as not to wash it or peel the protective stuff off. as it was going to a detailer to get Full PPF. The day of pickup they asked what accessories I wanted installed such as the Front splitter, gurney flap, under body strakes, I asked for all to be installed except the wheel locks. and of course there was no mark up on the limited production Dark Horse just MSRP how it should be no games were played just a very good experience all round.

Worst Buying Experience Ever!!! Vehicle was filthy and wasn't even taken through the shop for a thorough inspection. I spent two hours waiting for these guys to get my deal closed and even after walking around the vehicle with the sales guy.......he never once offered to have the vehicle taken to the wash bay or recon department. Nothing. Of course after the sale, they offered to send me a little something to help with the cost of having the vehicle cleaned up. A $25.00 freakin' gift card! I purchased an extended warranty but decided to cancel it after two months. I hounded these SOBs for two straight weeks to get that warranty canceled to no avail. I ended up canceling it myself. Poor customer relations, poor communications and very poor follow-up with regards to my concerns. Arrogance, entitlement and laziness to be in full supply at Bean's of Exton. Never, ever again!

We’ve been going back and forth with Hertrich ford Elkton - Ford Owner

We’ve been going back and forth with Hertrich ford Elkton for 4 months trying to resolve a transmission issue on our 2020 F-150 (10 speed transmission). They say it’s fixed, then the problems continue. They even left clamps in place disabling the heater and tried to pass it off as an unrelated issue to charge us a diagnostic fee to discover their mistake. The issue has yet to be resolved and in spite of the continued inconvenience of having our truck in their repair facility, they limit the ability of their shuttle driver to help me get back home. I can forgive mistakes if there is an apology and willingness to own the error and learn but their stubborn refusal to accept responsibility and continue to make excuses is astounding.

Dealer is the rudest, most unfriendly dealership I have ever visited. I walk into the showroom often, either headed to parts or service counter, and the sales people NEVER greet or acknowledge me. Strike One. This past month I went in to shop for a new car. I sat in the car for 5 minutes in the driver seat, then switched the rear seat, passenger seat and then walked around the car. I was in the showroom for a good 15 minutes and NEVER ONCE acknowledged!! It wasn't until I was halfway out the door that someone noticed me. Strike Two. I was shopping on the Ford home website and after requesting my information, it captured my contact info and directed it the very dealer I had a bad experience in. Ok, I figured lets see what happened...i really wanted to buy a car and have purchased from here before, so maybe they can turn the experience around. The contact experience from their internet coordinator was infrequent and poor. All canned responses and not very responsive. After a week, finally I made an appointment to drive a car. Yes, an appointment to go back. When I arrived, I had to look around and find a saleman, they were all too busy chatting in the "booth", something I witness everytime I am in there. The assigned salesman finally greeted me. After I introduced myself, he proceeded to tell me that the car I was scheduled to drive had been sold. That was my greeting; "Here is the car you CANT drive". I had to ask if they had SOMETHING I could drive. After 15 minutes, he located something. I drove it, it was nice. To this day, NO ONE FOLLOWED UP. Strike Three. I just bought a new car elsewhere. They really need new management there.

Ed Ryan and his team did a great job replacing the motor in my 2012 f150 3.5 ecoboost. Work was done in a timely matter along with frequent updates on the status of work being completed. The service team also took detailed pictures of the old damaged motor during tear down. Ed was even able to negotiate with ford corporate to help assist me financially with the repairs being done. The truck was fully detailed and ready for pickup. One year before this, I purchased a 2016 Ford Edge from bayshore in Pennsville and both times it was a good experience and they are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.
