I don't know if every salesperson there is like that but Jay Gonzalez certainly was. I'm sending my friends and family to him to buy Toyotas hands down. 10/10 recommend go see Jay Gonzalez

Brittany was wonderful! I came in since I was interested in a used car I'd seen on the website. She listened sympathetically to my whole story of needing a new car ASAP. I liked the car on the test drive; she explained how all the functions of how the car worked. She took care of all the details, dealing with my insurance, etc., working out payment, and returning the rental I came in (all the way from Westchester Cty) so that I'd be able to drive it home. I took a friend along with me, who commented on how stressed I was at the beginning of the day and how much calmer I was when we went home. My whole 'search & acquisition' took about 24 hours. I've never concluded a car purchase that quickly; this was truly amazing.

My wife and I had previously leased a car from City World Toyota on Boston Road, and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. As our lease was ending, we decided to give them another chance, hoping things had changed — but it was still the worst experience we’ve ever had at a dealership. We even tried the Toyota dealership in Yonkers; while it wasn’t as bad, the customer service still left much to be desired. Very hesitantly, we gave Fordham Toyota a try — and to our surprise, it turned out to be the BEST decision we’ve made. From the moment we walked in, our sales representative, Jaidy Cruz, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There was zero pressure from her, and she was completely transparent throughout the process. She actually listened to what we wanted, unlike other places that just try to upsell or rush you. We made it clear that we didn’t want any surprise fees (which we dealt with at City World), and she respected that fully — even making sure to relay it to German Flores in the Finance department. German was just as incredible — down-to-earth, friendly, and someone who truly made us feel at home. It was the first time we’ve ever encountered someone in finance who treated us like family. We told him we didn’t want our new lease payments to be too high and preferred to stay around where we currently were. Not only did he honor that, but he actually got our payments lower than what we were paying on our previous car — so much so, my wife was speechless (which says a lot!). What stood out even more was the atmosphere. The entire staff at Fordham Toyota treated one another with kindness and unity — something we’ve never seen at any other dealership. It felt like a true team, and that energy made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Fordham Toyota team for making this process smooth, honest, and truly pleasant. A special thank you to Jaidy Cruz for her exceptional customer service. You’ve earned our trust and our loyalty!

Came here to lease a RAV4. When it came to the negotiations, the sales manager came out. He was extremely rude, and clearly marked up the vehicle without even being transparent about what the car price was. He literally came out with a blank sheet of paper and wrote a bunch of numbers down (red flag) and but wouldn’t print out the quote or give us the full price of the vehicle we were trying to buy. Overall super scammy, rude, and unprofessional. Do not buy from them!!

I brought my 2007 Prius for a routine brake actuator - Michael

I brought my 2007 Prius for a routine brake actuator replacement. On the day of my appointment I show up to their service department. They tell me they don't show an appointment for me. I then show them their business card with the appointment date and time written by them. They then take my car in. A week later I get my car back. After paying $3000 plus for parts and labor they pull my car out. I immediately see the warning light illuminating on the dashboard indicating a problem with my hybrid battery system. I inquire the service manager about the warning light. He tells me that due to the age of my car, the hybrid battery failed and that I would need to pay to have it fixed. I never had an issue with my hybrid system so I'm very skeptical about the manager explanation. I tried getting an answer from Toyota corporate and their customer service, but nobody can explain why I wasn't told about my battery problem before they started working on the brake actuator. I would had never authorized their service department to continue working on my brakes if they would had told me that I had a major issue with the hybrid battery.
