They deserve more than five stars for being honest and transparent. I personally have had bad experience with several car dealers in NYC and Long Island and I know how misleading some car dealers can be; however Sunrise Chervrolet is an exception. I brought in my brand-new Chevy EV SUV because of a persistent rattling noise coming from the passenger-side window. This is now the second time I’ve returned to this dealership for the same issue, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. Instead of taking the concern seriously, the service team claimed they could not hear anything and even suggested the noise was caused by a makeup purse my wife put in the glove box. That explanation makes no sense—especially since the rattling started the moment I purchased the car and drove off the lot as well as after service, with or without anything in the glove box. I expect more thorough troubleshooting and accountability from a certified Chevy service center, especially with a brand-new vehicle. Brushing off concerns or placing blame on something unrelated is not acceptable. A customer shouldn’t have to return multiple times for the same unresolved problem. At this point, I do not feel confident in this dealership’s ability—or willingness—to properly diagnose and fix the issue. I’ll be taking my SUV elsewhere and hope Chevy addresses this lack of quality service.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! VEHICLE FAILED SMOG!!UNREPORTED DAMAGE UPON VEHICLE ARRIVAL!! Purchased a "CPO" vehicle from salesman Edwin Garcia Sarita APROX AUGUST 08 2025. ,besides him being antsy and pushy ,everything went downhill when he didn't want to provide a purchase order for my bank unless I did a $500 deposit then I jokingly asked if he'll top the gas tank, declined and started begging to give him a 5 star review for a full tank of gas. Moving forward, at moment of e-signing document I noticed they had added 10 miles on documents on top of it's true mileage (basically once vehicle is out the lot whatever issue it has I'm sure I'd get told "well you drove it 10 miles already,not our fault). I made them correct this against their will. I paid for vehicle to get shipped from NJ to California , upon arrival the vehicle has huge dents on the passenger side ,rock chips,scratches that were not mentioned and not shown when asked for full car details,videos and photos (Edwin Garcia Sarita sent them to me via his personal Whatsapp and via text). Clearly he avoided pointing the camera at the issues. Contacted Ivonne Flores (some type of unprofessional manager who avoids and hangs up on you) , sent all the pictures I was provided by Edwin Garcia Sarita + pictures of transportation company pointing out the dents,rock chips,scratches, the broken RF mirror ,etc. after multiple avoided calls,she finally responded stating the damages were shown and they can offer 500 as goodwill. Crazy. That's basically them admitting to the issue and trying to shut me up by signing a document and accepting 500 from them. Next, took the vehicle to get it smogged,fails . Called GM,took vehicle to local Chevy dealer,they put the scanner on and it's throwing at least 5 different issues + Theft Deterrent System has been activated and won't let me start the car unless I cycle through pressing the push start for a while in hopes that the vehicle recognizes the smart key. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the smart key at all leaving me keyless. Called Paramus Chevrolet, was told Ivonne Flores (manager) was not in the office ,explained the situation ,advised of seeking legal help for fraud and misrepresentation,Ivonne quickly tapped in the call,was told to send smog failure documents via email, I did exactly that. Now Ivonne Flores is telling me I need to drive the vehicle to reset whatever issue it has. Keep in mind the vehicle has temp tags from NJ in California , not registered; I'm not exactly at free will to drive the vehicle for who knows how long . To begin with the vehicle should have been ready to go when it got here, the vehicle isn't even passing smog! Worst dealership ever, while searching for auto shipping company I was advised and warned by a carrier that Paramus Chevrolet went down hill after the original owner sold the company. After all these issues they're still avoiding me and telling me I need to drive/ take care of vehicle issues on my own. I feel a responsible dealership would have scheduled me with a local dealership to get vehicle inspected and quoted for paint/body work under their company Paramus Chevrolet and get it taken care of,instead of being offered $500 TO SHUT ME UP AND FORCED TO SIGN A DISCLOSURE. Standing by for their resolution otherwise I'm sure any attorney would have a field day with them, cosmetic damage, the theft deterrent system warning, and the inability to pass a smog inspection--constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation and a deceptive trade practice.

They see that my needs are met and answer all my concerns about my Impala, sonic, malibu, Ion. thru many years. They spot problems before they get serious. AVOID THIS PLACE! - lennybronx

AVOID THIS PLACE!! The quality of service here is horrendous. I've been to their service department four times while having under 8,000 miles. -The first time was for an oil change when despite having an appointment, I was turned away by the service advisor(claimed to be the service manager at this time) Dominic because "Don't have time today. We're short staffed." - The second time was for the oil change where the service advisor Joseph helped me. While there, I also mentioned concerns regarding the brakes squeekng and the door panels rattling. I was told the service tech could hear the noises in the door from a likely manufacturing defect. The tech also heard the brakes squeeking and lubricated them and I was told to let them know if they were still squeezing after I drove for about a week. I was told to come back early so they could take the day to remove the panels and take a closer look. I made an appointment on the spot and was told to arrive at 7:30(the posted opening time on the front door of the service center) the following week. - The third time I arrived at 7:20 to shockingly find nobody around. I walked around inside the entire dealership and service area uninhibited; In and out of offices where personal financial information and car keys were laying around. I had quite a blast by myself and learned a lot about the dealership and the way it is foolishly run in that time I was alone. It wasn't until 7:45 someone arriving at the dealership for the day stopped and asked if I needed help. By 7:50 the service advisor Dominic arrived and told me that they actually opened at 8am despite what I was told by a service rep and despite what the posted hours of operation are. A service tech confirmed hearing the brakes squeezing and the door panels rattling. The lubricated the brakes, and I was told to make an appointment to come back early and give them the day to work on the door panels. 4th time is the charm I tell myself, I drop the car off at 8am and I'm told the usual by Dominic "I'll try to have it looked at but can't guarantee anything." Why do I bother make an appointment if you can't guarantee the vehicle will be looked at? When I return I'm told by Dominic and the service manager that they couldn't replicate the sounds. The previous technician literally lubricated the brakes because there was a sound and he confirmed the rattling but now I'm being told there is nothing they can do because they don't hear it and don't believe me. Because I waited until around 8,000 miles to report the annoying sound. They said they believed it was because I have tinted windows,(which shows the ignorance of the manager since they never removed the panels to apply the tints.) they said no other similar type of vehicle has these issues(I had to stop myself from explaining the definition of a factory defect to the idiot.) The service manager was rude, Dominic looked like he didn't give a care in the world during each interaction. I have a masters in business administration with a concentration in management and a certificate in international business. I've worked with the state government, federal government and with several financial institutions. Luckily for me, I can see the signs of poor and in some cases, illegal management and operation. Thankfully, I know who to contact regarding the rather shady operations at this business from the service advisor even right down to the finance manager. But others may not know, so I am writing this rather lengthy warning in hopes others will need my warning. I didn't have the patience to argue with the service manager or general manager at the time because I know how to handle this outside of the business but be warned now to whoever may be reading this.
