I strongly advise against shopping for a vehicle at this dealership based on my negative experience. Their communication and customer service are severely lacking. I visited the dealership on Monday and found a truck I liked. Wanting to carefully consider the decision, I informed the salesperson I was working with that I would reach out within a day or two. On Wednesday morning, I texted the salesperson to confirm I’d be coming in later that evening to finalize the purchase and even discussed down payment options. He assured me via text and phone call that everything was set and ready for me to close the deal when I came in. However, after driving an hour and a half to reach the dealership that evening, I was informed upon arrival that the truck had already been sold earlier that day. Despite multiple confirmations from the salesperson, no one took the initiative or courtesy to inform me before making the trip. While I completely understand that vehicles sell quickly, it’s unacceptable and inconsiderate to let a customer drive a significant distance when the vehicle is no longer available. This lack of professionalism and basic communication is extremely disappointing. I strongly recommend taking your business to a dealership that values its customers’ time and communicates honestly.

Guys are full of xxxx we put a $500 deposit down on a vehicle after bringing it to our mechanic that found a boat load of problems after telling the dealer about this they said they would take care of it. A day or two after we decided it was too big of a risk to buy this vehicle so we returned and requested a refund of the deposit which he said would be mailed after months of waiting and calling we still have not received a check in the mail. Unless you want your money stolen I wouldn’t buy a vehicle from these guys.

1 star only because it's the minimum. Contatced Shelby. multiple time, regarding at truck listed for sale. Advised I would be at the dealership for 9 am Sat morning, opening time. Drove over an hour. Arrived at 9:10 only to find them closed. A short itme late, someone else arrived and said it wasn't unsual. Around 9:30 guy rolls in. Seems pretty disinterested. Ask to look at the truck. Hands over the key and says go check it out. Find the truck sandwiched between others. Clearly not the truck in the photos or the photos were doctored. Clearly damage present not in sales photos. Front tire totally flat, and battery totally dead. Ad said not accidents. Truck bed had been replaced as evidenced by the low quality, peeling paint job showing the previous color underneath. When bring the keys back and telling employye this, the response was ya, I knowl. Save yourself the trip to this place. Looking through other reviews, a lot of the same issues, Should have checked this place out more before wasting my time. Just happy it was only time.

One this I noticed is that there are two dealerships with “Route 138” in the title. I’m referring to Route 138 Motor Car Company. The owner is on WATD radio every Friday morning. *****There is a different one that sounds similar but they are NOT related. This is important to point out. As I’m noticing some of these reviews here are for the other dealer which I know nothing about. The frame rotted out of my 3rd Gen SR5 4Runner and I was having a really hard time letting it go. They got me into a great suv with car payments less than my monthly car insurance. The staff is amazing. I’m almost done paying off my suv and then we’re heading back to purchase another one from this great place, for a second car for our family. This is the 1st dealership that has treated like a person and not a sale. I’ve been burned by the last 2 dealerships before this one that I had purchased. This was an amazing experience.

This dealership has poor customer service. The sales person we dealt with seemed disorganized and confused. Calling us at home stating the car was ready for us. We went to the dealership to pick it up, low and behold us was not. He also forgot to ask for the title of our trade in, therefore another trip back to the dealership. The finance person Mackenzie when we said we were not interested in the extended warranty, got very combative, aggressive and just plain nasty. This to the point I almost cancelled the deal. I will not buy my next car from this dealership.

Dont buy the over priced extended warranty and honestly don’t buy from them at all. Checked to see if they were still in business as we are getting ready to trade in the over priced turd they sold us. Unfortunately they are still scamming people. Drove from Maine to Mass to look at what looked like a decent low mile Suburban. Looked decent at first but after a test drive, I did an in depth look around the vehicle. They let me test drive it without any air intake on it. Wide open throttle body. Leaking transmission lines. Many scratches that could be buffed out. Breaks were squeaky so I mentioned that. I noted all of these issues as well as the interior being filthy. Also noted a slight lifter tick but that wasn’t overly concerning as it only had 87k on it. They said they would address all of these things. Thankfully they did put the air intake back on. They cleaned the transmission line. Not replaced. So it’s been leaking since we got it. No interior detailing done at all. Had to do the breaks within a year of purchase. They never did them. They buffed the exterior but it was poorly done. Buff marks everywhere and none of the scratches were addressed and the clear coat on the hood was clearly lacking or missing entirely because my hood began to fade within a year. Now for the best part. Went to use to warranty for the AC which went out after a year and should have been covered. Direct Auto never filed the paperwork. And after calling over 10 times and fighting with the warranty company as well, I filed with the BBB and Direct Auto never responded. We paid almost 4k for this warranty and never got to use it Even though we needed it. Now at only 137k on a typically reliable engine, the crank and rear main seals have gone out on it and it’s running rough despite proper regular maintenance. Absolutely never buy from them. We are upside down by alot. Also I found our trade in about a week later listed for twice what they gave us! A %100 mark up and they refused to budge on their price and refused to give us any of the trade in value in cash. You’ve been warned.

Our sales rep Noah truly has great knowledge, personal skills, efficiency, and stays one step ahead to make the process seamless. Can’t say enough good things about Noah and the entire staff over at Lawless. Not a hard sell by any means which I certainly appreciate. I purchased a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Highly recommend Noah and the entire buying experience at Lawless.
