Defected Cadillac 09 srx returned and still listed for sale - Alestock family

On 9/14/16 we bought a Cadillac 09 srx. On our way home, a two hour trip, the car shook, accompanied by noises and then a dash light came on. The second day we saw Gray smoke was coming from car! Not only this, the salesman over priced the bill of sell to my bank by 300.00! When we explained our concerns the serviceman and salesman had clear explanation for each concern. Conviently, both knew a very good explanation why the car shook why it was making noises and why the dash light was on! When we wanted to return the car less than 48 hours later, we were required to pay a total of 1,000.00 before we could walk away without this death trap. 24 hours later this car is still on there inventory list for sale. Buyers BEWARE!!

My wife and I just wanted to look at cars. Our Murano was in very good condition and had low miles, we have had no issues with the car but we were really just wasting time. As we entered the store we were warmly greeted by Garrett Allison, It was not a practiced greeting but was genuine in every way. We told him that we just wanted to look and he informed us that he would be happy to show us all or any of the cars on his lot and that they have an extensive inventory on line. That set the tone right from the start, we looked at several cars, not once did we get the impression that he was tiring of us nor were we rushed in any way. We found a 2012 Kia that we both liked. I asked him to appraise our car and figure out what our payment would be if we were interested in buying this car, No commitment. While they were appraising my car I went on line to Kelly B.B. to see what a fair offer for my Murano should be. Within 30 mins we had an offer in our hands that was right in line with K.B.B. they rated our car as high as it could be rated and gave us the max for it. Ok that was the easy part right, No within just a few mins Garrett was explaining our options and what our payment would be. I have purchased many new and used cars in the past but never like this. CarMax has revised how to purchase a car. They have taken the best parts and made them better and the long tedious parts and minimized them as much as possible. I would tell anyone and everyone go to CarMax and enjoy your car buying experience. Go to CarMax and see for your self what personal attention really means! Ask for Garrett Allison and in the finance department Shay Delbridge, she was so helpful, nice, understanding and patient with us. As we drove away from CarMax of Newport News my wife and I were both commenting on what a wonderful experience we just completed and in fact did not go there to buy a car, but it was the Genuine kindness and courtesy of all of the employees that we encountered that helped us decide that we wanted to be a part of the CarMax family. I was looking for a vehicle to use as a commuter car. I wanted a hybrid and was lucky enough to find one in Winchester at Cars 4 Grab. I live in Fredericksburg VA and therefore had to drive over 80 miles one-way to get to the car lot. I called ahead and was greeted by a professional and competent representative. This gave me the confidence to take the long drive to view the car. When I arrived, I was met by the owner and his wife. I was made to feel extremely welcome and all of my questions were answered. There was no pressure just good conversation and I felt like I could trust this individual. The owner "Nick" went out of his way to ensure that I was taken care of and the vehicle met my needs. He was honest and trustworthy, a trait that is not commonly found in a car salesman. I would definitely purchase from him again and refer friends and family to do business with him and his company. It was a great experience and I received a great car at a awesome price.

I bought a Ford Edge platinum on 7/29/2023. There is a fine line between being a good salesman and being pushy. Both Shonte and Jeremy understood this balance and knocked it out of the park. Shonte was great at showing me the extra safety features of the car, and Jeremy completed the finance which was painless. I know that dealers prefer when you use their finance. I came with my own, but this didnt make a difference to the way I was treated. I can't speak highly enough of my experience - totally different from the 7 hours that I spent at a Mitsubishi dealership in New Jersey on one occasion. A job well done for his awesome team!!!!! The car is pretty cool too.

As a customer and a professional in the automotive industry. Very impressed with how Chad’s exterior and interior layout warm and inviting to a potential customer. Trust me on this because nothing was out of place or looked neglected. His inventory of cars being offered for sale were of higher than normal quality that I would expect from a used car salesman. I expected to see a couple of the lower quality automobiles around and there were none to be seen. He explained to me that he was carrying on the family business and I will tell. You that in this kind of business experience passes on through a generation on to the next one. It was an honor and a privilege to speak to him. I have had more than my fair share of shady dealers in the past and Chad henry is not one of them. After driving for an hour and a half it sure wasn’t a waste of my time to come and see him for a potential sale with that being said I highly recommend his business to anyone. Especially the younger and vulnerable who’s only desire is to purchase some dependable transportation.
