When we first engaged Marck at Ourisman, we were simply researching vehicles and going through a deliberate process of elimination to determine the best vehicle for our family. Marck was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable about the Chevrolet and GMC product lines. He patiently answered all of our questions and never tried to "push a sale" on us. I was browsing Ramey’s Website and found a pre-owned Lexus which I liked. The Lexus was on their Richlands lot. I contacted them via E-mail to get more information about the vehicle and to discuss pricing. I exchanged multiple E-mails with Sidney Smith and Brandon Sheets. After we had basically negotiated a deal via E-mail, my wife and I traveled to the Ramey-Richlands dealership to test drive the vehicle. While driving the vehicle, we discovered that the windshield had a tiny chip / pit, which the dealership promptly had repaired to our satisfaction at their cost. We then finalized the deal. While visiting the dealership, we met with Brandon Sheets (manager), Christian Yates (sales), Frank Browning (sales), Eugene Hilton (sales), and Chance Moore (finance). All of them were very professional, courteous, friendly, cooperative, and helpful. This was our first experience with the Ramey-Richlands dealership, and it was very positive. We would not hesitate to deal with the Ramey-Richlands staff again for future vehicle purchases.

As a repeat customer and someone who gets all service from the dealership I expected to be treated as a valued customer. I was not! Tried to get a new car for my daughter and had horrible customer service (stood up first appointment) and had bad experience second appt. Lots of add on fees ($2000 gas&go lol). Ex- military as well. I thought there would be more effort under new ownership. People don’t travel to Front Royal to purchase cars, it’s for people who are loyal to community. I’ll have to switch from Chevy or go elsewhere. Too bad?

Not happy with the service,my truck was dropped off at Pinkerton on July 7th,because my transmission was slipping, was told on July eighth,their technician said they did not find any problems with it,told them that I had to have it towed from Richmond va back to them because it was slipping , they called me on July ninth said they found the problem,was going to call my extended warranty and get back with me,didn’t hear anything from them I called them on July 14th,was supposed to call extended warranty again and get back with me,still nothing, I went to the service center,it was then when he called to file a claim for work to my truck,now going on the third week the 21st,is when the transmission was ordered,5 to 7 days to arrive,now my truck is still at Pinkerton not in the shop yet. I don’t get a call on anything that is being done.The waiting game,in the dark.All of this comes from they changed my transmission fluid on may 16th,a little over a month.

As a visitor to the area. I would not recommend this dealership. If they can not or just won't be honest on something so simple, how can you trust them for anything more?

I have bought over eight different vehicles the last fifteen years, some new and some used, and I have experienced the typical ups and downs that come with such life experiences. Some purchases went smoothly, while others proved problematic, including one situation in which I had to sue a dealership in Kernersville, NC (and won). I even purchased a truck from Ramey in Princeton only to encounter a great deal of frustration in securing a second key for the truck (I never got it after several communications on my end). I've got to say though that my recent purchase of a 2015 Dodge Challenger at Ramey Tazewell has by far been my best experience with a car dealership to date. Our salesperson, Frank Hall, was kind, courteous, and easy to work with. I contacted the Internet sales after I saw the price drop on the car to what amounted to a good deal and was treated like a valued customer from the initial email response. We purchased a warranty that included protectant stain spray for the interior and exterior and had to take the car back two weeks later for the service. Frank set me up in a nicer loaner vehicle than he really needed to, and when I picked the Challenger back up it had been detailed all over from front to back, looking as it did when we drove it off the lot. I am very impressed with the sales staff at this dealership. Frank Hall and Ramey of Tazewell have earned our future business.

My Silverado pick up broke down on I 81 North on Sept.12th. Since the truck was covered by the GM Extended Warrantee, it was towed to the nearest Chevrolet Dealership for service. That was Elliott Chevrolet in Staunton, Va. They worked on it and called when it was done. They informed me that the repairs were not covered by the GM warrantee because they feel that someone, " has been inside the engine compartment doing repairs and leaving loose bolts, etc? I tried to assure the Service Manager that this was the first that I was aware of this and didn't think the it was correct? He still denied my claim. I was forced to pay the charges to release my truck and drive it home. I then went to my home town dealer, where I have purchased 11 Chevy cars and trucks, to get their thoughts on the matter. They basically agreed with me that the repairs should have been covered and gave me written proof of that. I then contacted the Elliott Service Manager and faxed the new info to him. I called Chevrolet Customer Claims and opened a claim for reimbursement. Today, I received a call from the Chevrolet Claims Supervisor stating the Elliott Chevrolet Service Manager is standing by his opinion and is denying my claim, once again? It makes a long time Chevrolet customer, buying new Chevy's since 1966, question why you would buy the very best extended warrantee, with a new vehicle, and pay a lot of money for the coverage. Then the one and only time you have an issue, the Service Manager in a Dealership thinks he sees something amiss and denies any help. As far as he is concerned.....Case Closed! When did these guys get to act like little the complete judge and jury? Beware of this Dealership. You might get burned as I did. Trouble with my case is that I truly did nothing wrong nor did I have reason to believe that the warrantee would not be honored?

Called the service department to order a replacement key fob for my Corvette. I asked the service manager that I spoke with, to contact my insurance person because they were going to pay for it. He told me he was too busy to call them. After a few minutes, I finally said to him " I guess your just too busy for my business, so I guess I'll take it elsewhere". He said, fine. I called back a few minutes later and I asked for the dealership manager, and was given one of owners...Fellers. I told him that I thought he might like to know that business was being turned away because service was too busy. He said that he wasn't too busy to make the call and that he would call me back. He left a message on my phone a few hours later asking that I call him back. I did twice, but didn't get him so I left two messages. That was a month ago, and I have yet to hear back from him. I guess they are too busy and don't need anymore business. So I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I did, and had the matter settled thru another dealership in 3 days time. Fellers Chevrolet lost my current and future business. Too bad since I just moved to the area and was hoping for a good local chevy dealership.

I recently visited the store to purchase a new car. I was working with a young sales person and everything was going okay until Clint the GM tried to get involved. He tried to explain that the dealer pricing was handled by Mr. Leckner himself and he agreed it was a bait and switch style price scheme just to get people in the door. He said the $999 processing fee was also just a way to get the owner paid and if he owned the store he wouldn’t charge more than $99 or no processing fee. Clint was nice but how can I trust a company who’s own GM doesn’t believe in the owners or company mission. Sounds like Mr. Leckner might want to change the company mission or hire managers that agree with his agenda. Either way I’m not buying from a company who’s own store manager doesn’t believe in their services or products worth.

Absolutely appalled at the utter disrespect this establishment has shown. My husband and I have been researching to buy a new truck for months. We spent numerous hours online looking at options and inventory. We were excited to see that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trailboss LT was in stock at a local dealership (Whitmore). We were off on MLK day, and planning to purchase a truck after all of our research; and a bonus that we could support a local business. However, when we arrived on the lot (9:15am) there were no other customers, but yet no one came out to greet us — we had to go in and ask for assistance. Once inside, my husband inquired about a test drive. The sales representative (while still sitting at his desk), asked my husband what his credit score was, my husband informed him that he had outstanding credit. Next, the salesman, still sitting asked, “well do you have a co-signer lined up? Because that’s a pretty pricey truck!” Absolutely appalling and completely disrespectful! Never once did this individual introduce himself nor offer any information about the vehicle. He did however assume that my husband must be too poor to afford a “pricey” truck, advertised at $50k (the going rate for trucks nowadays) just by walking in the front door. Outraged, I called and asked to speak with the owner so we would have an opportunity to discuss; but he too has refused to return any calls. Ultimately, we drove to Priority Chevrolet in Chesapeake and purchased that “pricey” truck with no issues! Do not recommend this dealership; please find other alternatives. Updated: Still no response from the dealership about the lack of professionalism and total disrespect. However after viewing photos on the dealers Facebook page, we are able to identify the salesman who refused to assist us, James West.
