Not pleased. - TomTerrific
Not pleased. First my A4 developed bad bearings in one wheel long before age would have made that a likely event. That cost over $2000. At 65000 miles, I brought it in for complete service. Brakes ran almost $1000 per wheel. Total bill, over $4000. I expect dealers to be outrageously overpriced- that’s the price you pay to get their “expertise.” The thing I could not tolerate was the poor service in general, including one particularly rude young punk at the service desk. I like Audi cars, but this has caused me to actually test drive an American sports car for the first time in 20 years. I’ve even considered using another Audi dealer in a neighboring city. And this is not the first time I’ve had a problem with them. During the pandemic, there was an issue that required my contacting the service manager directly for resolution. The BMW 540i is looking better to me now. I’ve read it handles better than the A4.
