We bought a new 4Runner last weekend - Lindsey was awesome! We didn't expect to end up with the 4Runner, so she patiently helped us test drive a Grand Highlander (in the pouring rain!) and had taken the time to understand our needs so she found the perfect 4Runner for us. Lindsey gave us honest answers and we never felt like we were being taken advantage of - which is very refreshing in car salespeople (and rare, too). She was also very knowledgeable about Toyota products and any tiny detail she wasn't 100% sure of she looked up right away (as opposed to making up an answer that was incorrect). We look forward to buying another car from Lindsey next time we're in the market!

My husband purchased a certified pre-owned F-150 from G - Mary_C

My husband purchased a certified pre-owned F-150 from G Stone about 4 and a half years ago. At the time, we selected a Ford extended warranty and paid well over $2,000 for it. We had NO issues with G Stone until this spring, when we needed to use the warranty. The truck now has 55,000 miles on it and a couple of weeks ago a front wheel bearing went bad. I called G Stone and Trudy told me that the repair would be $900, and I was surprised as it said the bearing should be covered under the warranty. Instead driving a truck with a bad bearing over 30 miles and paying $900 we opted to have the truck repaired closer to home for under $300, after calling Ford and getting a verbal OK to get the work done at a non-Ford dealership and having it covered under warranty. Vince from G Stone was helpful in submitting the warranty claim for us - but it was then DENIED by Ford as they said they had no record of the phone conversation I had with them. Shady, shady, shady! Vince at G Stone asked me to give them a chance when the truck needed it's next repair - so we did. Two weeks later the right rear caliper seized up and so my husband called to make an appointment as the truck was undriveable. He was told they could not get him in for service for 3 weeks and that no loner was available. So we canceled this absolutely useless Ford warranty immediately and are having both rear calipers/pads/rotors replaced closer to home out of pocket. We paid a LOT of money for a warranty that we can't use, and there is no guarantee from G Stone that they will be able to take care of you in an emergency. We will receive a small refund for the months of the warranty that we have canceled, but it will not cover the repair costs, so we are quite upset to say the least. Neither Ford Motor Company, nor G Stone is willing to help their customers get what they paid for in a timely manner, and our Ford dealer closer to home will not service the truck as "you didn't buy it from us" to quote them exactly. Needless to say we are going to be trading this truck in next week and will be going with a brand that stands by their customers. This whole situation is very sad as my husband has been a committed Ford truck owner for over 25 years, and my grandfather was the executive chef for Ford Motor Company at their Detroit headquarters. What an awful way to treat people who pay you 50,000+ for a vehicle.

I went there to see what it would take for me to replace my Tundra which I purchased there 10 years ago. They brought out the truck I purchased but I really had my doubts... the truck was way nicer than anything I expected. I talked to Brian and gave him some information and he said he'd be right back. Mind you, I only went to get information about what I would need to purchase a vehicle better than what I had. Approximately 45 minutes later I left the parking lot in a beautiful Toyota Tacoma. Worst service ever. Complete rip off. After carefully milked 2700$ the “complementary” wash wasn’t even done, the inside plastic wasn’t put back on and I’m missing a piece from a letter Q on the tailgate. What a terrible experience. Do not recomend

I handled financing weeks ahead. When I got into the office, they had change the offer based on incorrect information, and tried to give me *20%* loan. Incompetent and predatory. They swore up and down that this was a reliable car, and would pass inspection for at least a year, probably 2 or 3. It failed less than 6 months later, because of the tires, which I had specifically pointed out. They lied to my face about them being in good condition, and when I brought it up, they said that the *paperwork* said that it wouldn't pass inspection, despite their repeated verbal claims. I also negotiated the price ahead of time. The entire office was *xxxxxx.* When I got there, they clearly thought I was someone they could take advantage of. The woman handling the financing was freaking out, with her boss storming around behind her. They would not let me speak to the owner.
