Having just completed a deal at Heritage Toyota last Saturday for a 2026 RAV4 Limited model, I must say the entire process was very easy overall. We met with salesman Joe Cornelio back in November and decide to put down a payment to acquire the RAV4 when it became available. Joe continued to communicate via both emails and messages to keep me abreast of each new vehicle allotment to Heritage as we waited for the limited model RAV4. Toyota was not making the Limited models available when production began. However in March, Joe notified me they had one coming in but was not built as of yet. He sent me a PDF of that vehicle that included all extras that would be on the vehicle. As it turned out, my wife was not happy with the Storm Cloud color and it would be her vehicle, however everything else on the vehicle was what we were looking for. When I informed Joe, he hesitated and then notified me the dealership was going to submit a color change request. A couple days later Joe informed me Toyota had agreed to change the color to our preferred color Wind Chill Pearl. Then Joe indicated we would have the opportunity to remove or add to any extras offered on the limited model. We took advantage and ended up receiving a vehicle exactly like we wanted. Once the verbal agree was given, Joe began the process of coming to an agreement on the value of our trade vehicle and a final accommodation of a couple last minute add-ons. I had a trade value in mind based of KBB assessment and Joe managed to get that amount. Joe continued to let me know updated formation regarding when the build began and approximated delivery. It arrived on Friday and we closed on Saturday and drove our new RAV4 home to Plattsburgh New York. The finance officer was professional, as he reviewed choices like extended warrantees and undercoating. That process was easy, not pushy, and we were very happy with the deal we ended up with. I must say that Heritage Toyota looks and acts professional, all staff are attentive and helpful, and our salesman, Joe Cornelio was outstanding. I knew from the start that I was going to receive excellent personal attention dealing with Joe. He’s is personable, an excellent communicator, attentive to detail and follows up continually to ensure his customers are completely happy with their deal. Therefore I recommend if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle you will not go wrong taking a look at the Heritage Toyota inventory. And definitely give Joe Cornelio a call or email him, that information is available on their website. I give Joe Cornelio the highest possible rating, he is an outstanding salesman and very personable, someone who I now call my friend.
