Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. - Very disappointed customer

Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. Started seeing fluid on the ground whenever I parked the vehicle. Had my husband look at it and discovered oil was leaking on the ground. Tried to get service appt this past Fri and Sat but the message stated the service dept was closed. Needless to say I had to get the vehicle checked out and found out the the gasket was not tightened after the last oil change. Had to get a new oil change and thank goodness for that dealership’s expertise in analyzing and fixing the careless error of Tejas service department. Will never go back to Tejas now renamed Space City! Very costly error

3/8/25 My driver door handle broke and you could not open the door. Had to find a Toyota dealership to fix the door. After searching for a close dealership I decided on Universal Toyota service Department. Service Department was so nice. I brought the door from the parts department. Mr Carlos Martinez told me it would be fixed about 2 hours and it was on my 2020 Toyota Corolla LE. I wanted some Toyota water that is when I found out Universal Toyota did not have the Toyota Logo water bottles like another dealership. The bothered me a lot and I found Mr John Martinez and told him I had a complaint and would like to talk to the manager. So he took me to Mr Adam Soto. I told him and Mr John Martinez about how disappointed about no TOYOTA Logo water. Because you pay all the money the water means a lot to me. Mr Soto assured me he would get the Toyota Logo water for the Universal Toyota dealership. I was about to leave and he wondered why I was there. Mr John Martinez told him about my door. Mr Adam Soto asked was I ready for a new car. This shocked me I knew that credit issues may stop that. Mr Adam Soto put in the information in the computer and worked out the deal better than when I was blessed with my 2020 new car. Now I have a great warranty again. My car was paid off .Mr John Martinez took me on a test ride in the Toyota Corolla SE 2025. Can back did my paperwork and I had a Brand new Toyota Corolla SE 2025. Thanks to Mr Soto And John Martinez. They both are a blessing. The car is a blessing also. Universal Toyota dealership is the greatest made me feel like family. Bless them all. The Commercials are true they go out of their way make you feel special. Mr John Martinez is the nicest salesman he had all the answers to my questions. Bless you again Mr John Martinez.

Have been dealing with this dealership for awhile since moving to Houston for all our servicing needs for our Lexus ES350. They have been phenomenal each time and I have worked with different service advisors but this time I decided to write a review since the adviser I worked with, Martin M., was not only exceptional to deal with but he was truly honest about the service I needed and didn't need which I truly appreciate. Service like that is the reason I will continue to not only deal with this dealership for my service needs of the Lexus but take my family's other cars for servicing when the manufacturer's warranty expires and it comes time to decide where to service them. I see Joe Myers being the destination for my future car purchasing needs as well since I had a great experience in the past with their preowned sales division and of specific mention, Marcos. Overall, I'm a very happy customer and gracious for this dealership being so close to where I reside which played a huge part in my choice in choosing them. Def A+ and 5/5.

Great service department. Israel Sanchez, Erick, Rolle, Joe and the whole crew were great. Had my battery replaced, transmission serviced and my oil changed while I waited. Very friendly and skilled staff. Highly recommend doing business with this dealership. I drove 40 miles to take my car there and it was worth it. Great job.
