We purchased a 2023 Exepdition Max from this dealership at the end of March. When we were test driving the vehicle, a couple of system fault errors went off. When asked about them, we were told that they just received the vehicle in and that the vehicle was in ”transportation mode” and that those would be turned off. After discussion, my husband and I agreed to purchase the vehicle…once we purchased the car, they told us we could pick it up tomorrow as they hadn’t finished doing the overview of the vehicle. Let me note that my husband had test drove it two days before I went with him to look at it (so the dealership had it for at least a week on the lot…enough time to service the vehicle before advertising the car for sale) So we had to wait and pick the car up the day after we purchased it…upon picking it up the sensor faults we not fixed. We were told that they would order parts and pick up our vehicle and bring us a rental car. (we live an hour and a half from the dealership) After a week of not hearing back, we called to follow up about them fixing the faults. We called our sales rep 3 times, two of the calls went unanswered with voicemails, and once he answered and said he would get an update and call us back. He never did. We were going on two weeks of having the car, so then we called the sales manager…he told us he would check with the service department and call us back. He did call back, but did not give us an answer because the service department “was in a meeting”. my husband has since called the sales manager back two more times with no answer or response. We’re coming up on a month of owning this vehicle with absolutely no help, response, answers from this dealership. They lied to us about the faults in the beginning and then haven’t even followed up to correct the issue. The customer service at this dealership is absolutely horrendous. Please do not consider purchasing a vehicle from here. The other negative reviews that I have read are just like the experience we have received. I’m honestly quite baffled this dealership prides themselves as a reputable dealership. We have since decided to contact a dealership we trust to resolve these issues or purchase a new vehicle from.

I recently bought a vehicle from Covert Ford, and I was very satisfied with the sales process, everything was thorough, and I got in and out pretty quickly. This review is more about the dealership itself more than the sales process, like most people will usually write about. Only one word describes this dealership: Old. This dealership is in need of a renovation BADLY. Their smaller dealership, Covert Ford of Hutto, looks WAY more modern and inviting than their main Covert location in Austin. The sales floor looks like it’s stuck in the 80’s, the service advisors are working out of CLOSETS, and the parts “department”, if you can call it that, it’s literally a small room with a mini office. The formal “delivery” area is three small parking stalls at the front of the dealership. I don’t get it, their Bee Cave GMC dealer is BRAND NEW and looks AMAZING, but their main Ford dealership, looks so incredibly run down and old! Because of the old layout of the dealer, and how run down it looks, it doesn’t seem like a very inviting place for me to bring my vehicle for service. I’d rather go to Mac Haik in Georgetown where the dealership looks very inviting, modern, and in a nice area. Sales process and deals are great at this dealer, the dealership itself, is in DIRE need of a makeover.

Bought 3 new cars from this dealership in Victoria Texas. This is one of 2 we purchased brand new in 2022. A month or so ago the cruise control went out. Made an appointment to get it repaired, because it was still under warranty. They had trouble taking the steering column apart, saying the air bag might not work. They claimed someone took the steering column apart and tampered with it. Now they are telling us they repaired the cruise control switch, but they found other issues (metal filings in the steering column? Paint marks on the steering column?) and that they will not warranty it because of suspected tampering. When we asked multiple times if it was safe to drive, they would not say it was. Now they are telling us we have to come and pick up the unsafe car and sign a paper stating they are not responsible for anything that happens going forward. When we asked if they were accusing us of tampering with it, the manager said no. We are the only owners. Welcome to Mac Haik customer service. (reviews are abysmal and they tend to not honor warranties regularly) They still have our car.

On 7/19 we had an AWESOME experience with Megan Acosta (inventory specialist/sales) and Andrea Watson (finance) at Tommie Vaughn Ford where we were literally treated like family. We have been blessed to have contacts at various dealerships over the years where we were treated well, but this experience was the best of all. They met us with the sales manager when we walked in the door, had an offer on our trade before we could sit down, and helped us locate an additional vehicle for a family member (did I mention multiple follow ups for us on the vehicle for our family member). We closed the purchase and will close the other purchase when the located vehicle arrives! Can't say enough about these wonderful ladies!!! I had been going back and forth with their sales dept for 3 weeks. Came to an agreed upon price. Went in to purchase, signed the invoice with the agreed upon price then the manager came out to tell us that the price was no longer valid and that it would increase by $500 due to "changes in inventory". When we questioned him about these changes that apparently occurred within 24 hrs, he could not give us an acceptable answer. They are greedy and untrustworthy and we will never deal with them again. The 2 salespersons that we dealt with were Erik and Rebecca and they were very nice however their managers screwed them over in the process also. If I could give them a 0 star, I would!!

Very dishonest Finance Manager, and the General Manager - I was told that I could cancel the Extended Warranty at any time and get a refund...after purchasing the EW and paying for it with my credit card because I didn't want it to be part of my loan payment, even though he convince me to added to loan contract but said it not part of the loan - that should have been a red flag for me then - after a week without ever using it I decided I was going to cancel it. I talk with the finance manager about cancel it, and, he told me I had two options to cancel it...one option was to get a refund, but, it will go toward my loan balance, which will reduce the amount I owe...and my other option was to refinance, and, I will get the refund back after refinancing. I told him he never discussed that with me, so I requested to speak with the general manager, and, after explaining everything to him, I told him in good faith that I should receive my refund back to my credit card, but, he agreed with the finance manager said there's nothing he could do. I asked for a copy of the terms and conditions, it says, “You may cancel this Agreement at any time and for any reason, and you will be entitled to a refund from Us, as described below. (1) If We or the Selling Dealer receive a written cancellation request, on or before the 30th day from the Signature Date and no claim has been filed under this Agreement, this Agreement will be void, and You will be entitled to a refund equal to the full Purchase Price You paid for this Agreement.” Because I don't trust them anymore, I refinanced my loan, but I haven't gotten a refund for my credit card.

I need to take truck in for warranty work at 31K miles, and the best offer they have on a loaner while my vehicle is getting serviced for safety recalls and warranty work with my sunroof falling apart is 2-3 months out. No sense of urgency nor a sense of caring about the customer after the purchase.

Fixing to leave out of town and battery gave me problems, found out they knew it was a bad battery the week before according to there records and said nothing. They put a new battery in before I headed out. Nobody would would admit they messed up. They saw that the battery was at 46 % life and let me drive out with it. Glad my phone app caught it.

I tried to call back a few weeks later after I noticed what he did and the manager there told me he was fired for doing this to several people and that I was xxxx out of luck. The Maintenance and Repair Department Lacks Attention To Detail, After Purchasing A 80 Thousand USD VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP I ASSUMED THAT BY RETURNING IT TO THEM I WOULD RECEIVE BETTER PRODUCT SUPPORT. I should have known better after bringing it back to have the left front headlight replaced under warranty. I was pleased that the service advisor recommended that I myself do an inspection prior to driving off assuming that the repair was completed. After opening the hood we found that many of the parts that had been removed to replace headlight had not been reinstalled. DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT NOT HAVING SOME FORM OF CHECKS OR QUALITY CONTROL. OVER THE SEVEN YEARS THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY PROGRESS TOWARDS A SOLUTION. NOW AFTER HAVING A 6000.00 Repair On The Sunroof That Broke And Was Leaking ITS STILL NOT REPAIRED ITS STILL LEAKING I CANT EVEN TAKE IT TO A DRIVE THROUGH CAR WASH WITHOUT WATER POURING IN FROM THE FOWARD PILLAR GRAB HANDLES. We are from south Texas and we were in Mount Pleasant visiting my son . As we were getting ready to head south our air conditioning on our 2023 expedition started to act up and only blow hot air . 3:00 pm on a Friday and 500 miles from home and heater on full blast would have been an unbearable drive. We rolled in to dealership and I must say I have never been treated better. They took it in and worked their magic and an hour later we had cold ac and vehicle was fixed . I know its under warranty and however we bought our vehicle in south texas . They could of easily said we are busy come back Monday however they went above and beyond. We blew out two tires and damaged a rim on Hwy20 on our way to Florida. We had to find a Ford dealer and a tow truck close by. Bianca in the service department was able to find tires and a new rim. They dropped us off at our hotel nearby. Also, they picked us up the next day. We feel that Bianca went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, reducing our stress. Bianca kept in contact with us throughout the ordeal, even when we were waiting for the tow truck on the side of the road.Bianca was very knowledgeable about what was needed. She knows her stuff. She topped it off with a car wash! Very refreshing to see someone with great work ethic! Thank you!!!
