It’s been about two months since my mother purchased her first Subaru from New Motors, and I have to say it’s the happiest she’s ever been in a car. About two years prior I tried to get her to buy a Subaru and get rid of her other car, but she decided to stick with her other car for a little while. During this failed attempt to move her into a Subaru we met a man named Stephen Kolenda. Stephen took my mother out for a drive in a Subaru Outback, and at that time she checked out the speaker system in the car, as she loves to listen to classical music. She really enjoyed the Outback but wasn’t ready to jump into a new car that time. Fast-forward two years later, and unfortunately my mother was in a car accident, which she still is currently recovering from, but when I called Stephen Kolenda on the phone when I found out her other car had been totaled on Thanksgiving, not thinking about the fact that it was Thanksgiving, he immediately called me back, and asked, “how are you and your mom doing?” To my surprise and admiration, he then said, “I remember how much she loved classical music when we went for the drive.” It was a real moment of humanity in a crazy time. That kind of personal memory, and attention to detail is exactly what I found to be present with Stephen from the beginning discussion of purchasing a Subaru, to the final agreement. He went above and beyond in every way possible and truly worked to get my mother into a new car that she was comfortable in. It took less than five days from start to finish, and I was able to negotiate mostly on her behalf, as she was medically recuperating. The Subaru has proven its worth in Erie’s winter this year, and Stephen has proven to be the most honest, genuine, forthright, and honorable sales representative that I have ever worked with in purchasing a vehicle in my life. Through his true dedication to service and responsible sales, he has guaranteed that my entire family will be converting to Subarus in the future. The only car company that I will work with in Erie, Pennsylvania is New Motors, and the only person I will buy a car from is Stephen Kolenda.

I have never received the solid gold service I received when I purchased my new CX30 Mazda. My sales person, Bella Cuevas, was so knowledgeable and most important she listened to all my concerns and wishes. She introduced me to all the wonderful members of her team and made sure I got what I wanted. I think this must have been the ninth car I have purchased but never felt more cared for and happy with my decision. Then she took me to my NEW car and went over everything I needed to know and feel safe. As a senior citizen I cannot recommend Koch33 and Bella and her team enough, Wonderful experience I feel blessed. When did you ever hear that from a dealership?

My experience with leasing a new 2025 Atlas Cross Sport with Mike Shamy at Fred Beans Volkswagen of Doylestown was flawless. We had reviewed and negotiated the deal online and on the phone, with text and email follow-ups as well, which saved me a lot of time and effort, as I live over 60 miles from the dealership. Upon arriving to pick up the vehicle, everything was ready with no hiccups or delays at all, in and out seamlessly. He even helped me turn in my end of lease 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have been leasing cars for over 30 years and liken the process to what one might refer to "as much fun as a root canal", but this was the very best experience I have ever encountered. Very disappointing place. They replaced my rotors and brakes 2 years ago, and said they needed replacement again? My car is stored in a garage and generally, my brakes never needed replacement for 60000 or more miles. Costly need and I honestly do not trust if this job was done properly 2 years ago. I also waited 1 hour for them to even look at my car, as I waited over 2 hours, as a full room of customers came and went, as I was the last one there. And… I had a scheduled appointment and arrived on time… even 15 min prior. Problems discussed with them and zero comments back.

Bought a Pre-Owned Chevy Equinox diesel from Brandon. Scheduled to pick up car on Saturday at 1pm and upon arriving had to wait 40 minutes. If we have an appointment things should be ready at the agreed time. That being said things went smoothly although their financing rates weren't that competitive. After leaving the dealership and driving for 15 minutes the check engine light came on. We called our sales rep, Brandon, and stated we were bringing car back to have them run a diagnostic to determine what the issue was. (Could be something simple) he spoke with his manage and called me back and said NO don't bring it here our diagnostic tool won't work. Go to Chevy dealership. HE did state that they would help cover cost. I asked him to send that in writing via email which I did receive after two requests. Since that point I have received no follow up calls from this organization, Brandon, no one! The Chevy dealer upon looking at the car noticed the wiper blades were broken, oil had not been changed, nothing had really been done to this car prior to being sold. Additionally after running the diagnostics it turns out the car needed a Catalytic Converter. Quite an expensive fix! The good news: turns out the car has a CPO warranty and everything was covered at no expense to me. VW Reading should have had me bring car back in and taken care of the issue without inconveniencing me. This is a Sub-Par dealership with NO Customer Service who clearly doesn't prepare their preowned vehicles properly

From my first interaction inquiring about selling my wife’s Jetta to them, to ultimately trading in for a new Taos, I felt that at every level they were transparent, fair and ethical. I am a knowledgeable consumer with many years’ experience purchasing/leasing vehicles; I ask informed questions and generally anticipate dealer tendencies to overcharge, mislead or otherwise malpractice throughout the process. Some might consider me a challenging customer due to these factors. However, at every point the staff at 3RVW remained patient, courteous and attentive to all inquiries, answering all my questions and corresponding in a thoughtful and professional manner. When the time came to take delivery, they were very respectful of our time in making the process efficient and even adapting to accommodate our newborn and toddler. The three gentlemen I dealt with throughout the duration of this deal were Nigel (Sales Professional), Pat (General Sales Manager), and Seth (Finance Manager). I would recommend anybody in the market for a new or preowned VW to make this your first call. *OF NOTE: After agreeing in principle to terms, I reached out to a different area VW dealer to see if they would like the opportunity to beat the deal I had in place, and they did. While their deal was compelling, the ensuing dialogue proved them to be arrogant, rude and misleading, and therefore not worth pursuing a business relationship with. I can rest better knowing I’ve conducted my business with a company who holds themselves to a higher standard of care.

Unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate (unless you are giving them money). I used "cars.com" to search for a Mazda CX-5. I hit the "Check Availability" button and entered my information. Not 15 seconds later I receive three text messages, a phone call and an e-mail from several people (Chris, Mara to name two) inviting me to see the car. I indicated that I was driving from TWO HOURS away to see the car and made an appointment with Chris with every intention of buying the car. My wife dropped me off at the dealership to go do things with the kids while I purchased the car and I walked in the dealership, 10 minutes early for my appointment. Place was busy, but no one was there to greet me at the door. I decided to go outside and see the car, and when I returned through the side entrance I was greeted and asked if I needed help. When I said I was there for my appointment to see the CX-5, her face turned sour and she went back to the room where the managers were. I overheard one of them tell her the car was sold. I immediately got angry, but calmly reminded them I had just driven two hours to buy the car. I poked into the office area and the one manager (do not have name but young guy with a beard) simply said "it sold 15 minutes ago" and looked at me like something was wrong with me for showing up for an appointment. I fully understand the first money and signature buys the car. That is not the point. Car deals do not take 15 minutes. They knew 1-2 hours earlier that someone was test driving the car and starting to talk numbers. They could have simply texted me, maybe ask for deposit if I really wanted the car, I would have been completely understanding and happy. The day before they texted me in 15 seconds and jumped all over me by phone call, text and e-mail when I showed interest in the car. Also, no apology was given by anyone who promised me the appointment. The manager sat there and did nothing to apologize or offer me other cars I might be interested in. The attitude was that I was bothering them by showing up for an appointment they scheduled. Of course they will post some apology here, but too little too late. Here is how you handle the situation: You made a mistake and have an unhappy customer in your show room? APOLOGIZE. OFFER. Screw ups happen. I'm fine with that. I am not fine with people who are INCONSIDERATE of others time. Wasn't just the manager, there were 3-4 people involved in my appointment who should have contacted me or at least APOLOGIZED. Don't do business with these people. They only care about your money.

Jen was a very friendly advisor. I brought my wife's car in because the check engine light kept coming on and off. Jen made sure that Garnet accepted Continental’s comprehensive warranty and gave me a heads-up that I might have to pay a $180 diagnostic fee if they didn’t find anything wrong. I decided to take the risk. The technician thoroughly inspected the engine, ran a full test to ensure there were no issues, and even took it for a second test drive to double-check. They eventually removed the faulty code. Jen was very apologetic that I had to pay the fee, but I felt reassured knowing that Garnet VW took the time to double-check the engine, confirming that everything was fine and the car was just being overly sensitive.
