4 Stars with an asterisk. - adam.kita
4 Stars with an asterisk. Everything was going along just fine until a few minutes ago. I saw a car I liked online. I reserved a time to test drive it. Corey, my salesperson, was outstanding. After the test drive we went over the inside and outside of the vehicle. Corey noted all of my very minor concerns and agreed to have them corrected by the time I picked my vehicle up after purchase. They required a deposit of $1,000 to "hold" the vehicle until financing could be secured. I wrote a check and noticed that the dealership wasted no time in processing it as the money was withdrawn from my account within 2 (two) business days. Not a problem as I was financing the entire sale and would receive a refund of that money when I took possession of the vehicle. I made arrangements to pick the car up on a Saturday. All of the concerns had been corrected and the car detailed very well. I signed the paperwork and was ready to drive off when I realized that I had not gotten back my $1,000 deposit. I went back in and was told that there was nobody in the office on a Saturday who could cut a check and I could check back on Monday. Well it's Tuesday and I called to see a status of where my refund was at and here is where the asterisk comes into play. I was told that they would start to process a refund check but it would not be finalized until May 22nd (a full 8 days after asking for a status update). This struck me as odd being they only took 2 days to cash my deposit check. I guess accounts payable has more challenges than accounts receivable at this dealership. Needless to say, 95% of my experience was positive with just that 5% of securing my refund as the only negative which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I would do business with them again but I would also be more aware of any financial dealings I perform when I do.
