This dealership is 40 mins from our home; we took a half day off of work for the appointment. Took our Mazda in for service as several lights were lit up on the dash-this was indicated to the service department when we made the appointment. When the car was done, we went back to pay and confirmed at lights were out on the dash. The service manager, Dan, went out with my husband to check and 2 lights were still on. Dan told my husband that “he could get us in next week to take care of the other lights”. When they came back in, I was told the same thing. At that point, we explained that we live 40 mins away from the dealership and coming back another day would require more time off of work. Dan said he couldn’t take the car back into service because they had a cylinder head change coming in. After Dan mansplained to me that the lights were on because the system was off, I responded with “it doesn’t matter why the lights are on, they shouldn’t be on and that is why we brought the car on for service”. After much back and forth, it was only after I had to raise my voice that Dan finally conceded and said he would take the car back to service. Since we left the dealership, the check engine light has been on and we have tried to contact Dan numerous times without a return call. Check engine light is still on :(
