These guys are awesome! I highly recommend Atomic Auto. I love my Prius V. Working with Les (Sales) and Travis (the owner/mechanic) was a casual, low/no pressure process (compared to a "traditional" dealership), and the experience and price fit me and my budget very nicely. I enjoyed the process, and the moments in between... Which, I suppose, are also part of the process. They're honest, friendly, and knowledgeable; 3 important qualities in an auto shop. Their prices are reasonable and fair; a much appreciated difference (compared to other options in town). If they don't Have the hybrid you want on the lot, they'll find one for you! Wow. : )

Wrecked cars not worth owning - Douglas Mitchem

Was in there November 18th to purchase a car. When we told them we did not want the extended warranty the finance clerk did not even send the paperwork to the bank as punishment for not wanting the warranty. I am form them I could get the warranty cheaper on my own and he basically told me I was lying. The cars they sell are wrecked and refurbished. Do not trust the Carfax reports on these cars. So do yourself a favor stay away

Unfortunately I have to give this dealership at least one star because, to be honest, if I could I would give them a zero. We bought a VERY expensive car there and verbally agreed on a price. Unfortunately, my husband (who had a mutual friend with the sales manager, James B., who he thought was also a friend) trusted James and didn't check the paperwork with an eagle eye. If he had, he would have noticed that James increased the sales price $2,000 over what had been agreed on verbally. My husband learned a tough lesson there, but shame on James for being a snake in the grass and not honoring a "handshake agreement." We have had another negative experience with a Lithia-owned dealership (dishonest) and now this further punctuates our decision to make a concerted effort to NOT deal with a dealership owned by Lithia. Unfortunately, Lithia dominates the southern Oregon area, but we will drive as far away as we have to to buy our cars. I'm now looking at buying a 2024 vehicle and if I buy a Mazda, looks like my closest option is to drive to Eugene.

I had been in communication with Ron Tonkin on 122nd in Portland, Oregon regarding a car I was interested in purchasing. They initially quoted me a price that was $6,000 more than the listed price of the car and $5,000 more than the Kelley Blue Book value. When I questioned this, they lowered the price. I arranged to purchase the car with cash and drove for an hour to get there. Upon arriving, they informed me that they had sold the car to someone else while I was on my way there. I was extremely frustrated and felt that the dealership was dishonest from the beginning. This place is a SCAM and unprofessional

I wanted to share my experience in hopes of saving someone else the headache, hassle and biggest mistake I made. I bought an 03 Honda Civic SI from All About Auto less than a month ago. I was told that ALL cars qualify for warranties and that their cars are hand picked, "best of the best" I was also told that all their cars are also ran through with a fine tooth comb. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING!! I specifically asked for a warranty, but I was not able to get a warranty on my car because I didn't qualify, even though was not given a reason why. I was in need of wheels and trusted a friend of my mom's word who works there that I'd be in safe and reliable car, he said he'd put his daughter in this car. Not even a month later my check engine light is flashing at me on my way home from work, so I had my car towed to a mechanic's shop cause there was something seriously wrong with it. The shop pulled the codes and it read misfires in cylinder 1, 3 and 4. The mechanics shop looked all the spark plugs, they were so old and shot that the one by the 3rd cylinder actually broke off. The shop also did a compression test and my 3rd cylinder has 100 pounds of pressure. Compared to 160- 175 of other other 3. The car I bought less than a month ago now needs a new engine because the broken spark plug fell in, destroying my engine. This is not a car that was went through with a fine tooth comb. When I called the dealership and spoke to Skip about this situation to see if they would rectify this one way or another, he would barely let me speak, was talking over me, telling me I was being rude and also told me that I needed to accept responsibility, even though they sold me a lemon. He also informed me that they do not do anything to the cars other than a "safety inspection" they don't check the oil or nothing and he doesn't know a dealership around that does a basic tune up or inspection cause they'd lose money. Needless to say the guys at All About Auto will do NOTHING to recitify this sitation. Even though they've been a "family business" for 23 years on the basis of their customer's wants and needs. I bet if they had a daughter who's car needed a new engine not even a month agter purchase, they wouldn't be very happy. If my car was ran through with a "fine tooth comb" like they assured me it was, any one with half a brain would have seen the condition of the spark plugs and knew they were in horrible condition. I haven't even made a car payment yet or received my license plates and am now stuck with a $7,000 dead horse that needs a $3,000 new engine. Hard lesson learned, there are no friends in business. They will tell you anything to make the sale, even if they are selling you a lemon. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. YOU'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK ON CRAIGSLIST!

I had my own financing and they didn't try to push theirs on me. They gave me everything I needed for my bank and waited while we did paperwork back and forth. Car was detailed, gassed up and ready to go on the day I picked it up. We finished the paperwork and I was off.....a few miles down the road the feared check engine comes on...They told me bring it back they would fix whatever was wrong but it only needed some power steering fluid. Great place no high pressure sales and good customer service.

After finding my dream car online nearly 2000 miles away over 4th of July weekend I was forced to wait till after the holiday to get in touch with Rickie. I asked about the car I was interested in, he helped set me up with a mobile inspector to look the car over to save me time and a flight to Oregon. By the time we finished the inspection and I made my considerations it was too late to make the deal that day. Bright and early the next day, Rickie was there to help speed things along. I was able to docusign the paperwork and wire the money. Without being asked Rickie dropped the sales price to offset the shipping (Thank you again) and he handled finding a driver to transport my car to me. Picked up on a Saturday and dropped off to me on the following Monday. Excellent customer service and I would not be afraid to buy from him again!

The salesman at the first lot south on 82nd was friendly and helpful. The salesman at the second lot north on 82nd disappeared on us and wasn't very friendly. We called ahead and went directly to the vehicle we called about and the salesman basically left us standing next to the vehicle, he didn't offer a test drive and didn't actually reappear until we were walking off the lot. We went to a different car lot in Troutdale right after and bought a vehicle same day.
