I put 1 star because they don't have a negative rating. My review is short. I am a recent widow. Saved every penny of $1700, which wasn't easy. Had a friend drive me 6 hours to this place to buy an older car I could afford. They assured me it was a good running car and would get me home and in fine condition. They lied. After I put headlights and all fluids in car it made it an hour. Dropped transmission and drained battery all at once and I was stranded on MAJOR interstate in a very dangerous situation at dark. I called them and they told me me I bought a $1700 car. Nothing they would do. Finally got to a hotel and it took my months check (fixed income) to get home. Sorry bunch and criminal place. They straight up lied to me and knew it when they did it. THIEVES!!!!!!!

The car was nice but Vic the dealer was a shyster. He has a photocopy of a 7 year old title that was signed by a seller but no buyer, and expected us to believe that he would mail the original to us and that's all we needed. He claimed the original was at the bank and couldn't be retrieved until the next day, even though we'd wait. Why he didn't have it on hand already I don't know, he'd known for several days that we were coming to look at the car. Also every time we asked him about the loan or lien that was reported on the car just the previous month, he told us that we shouldn't worry about it and that Carfax couldn't be trusted. All of this was said in a rude, loud, angry, argumentative voice after he interrupted us every time we tried to talk. I finally stood up and said 'we're out of here'. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to stay as far away from these crooks as possible.

Cliff sold us a truck back when they were open, thought it was all gravy and even purchased a warranty. Not even a month after driving off the lot, they shut down. We are now stuck with a truck that’s sitting in the driveway broken down even tho we paid 4 grand for a long term special warranty. Completely xxxxed us over. If anyone on here knows how we can contact anyone from there it would be much appreciated, our attorney would like to speak with the previous owner.

Yo le compré una carro a este concersionario el día 24 de junio del 2024 dando un pedosito inicial de 2000 dólares cuyo dinero di 1000 dólares ese mismo día y el resto des depositó tendría que darlo el día 5 de julio, en los papeles del carro yo firmé que me llevaba el carro tal y cómo lo vei es decir que estaba en perfecto estado en dicho documento no salía que el carro tuviera ningún problema mecánico ni técnico, días antes del próximo pago del depósito yo contacté al agente que me viendo el carro pidiéndole una extensión de la fecha de pago ya que se me habían presentados problemas económicos y fue aceptada, el día 8 de julio del 2024 el carro me empezó a presentar problemas con la batería lo llevo al concersionario y ellos con un mecánico alterno a su negocio me llevan y la factura fue de 550 dólares de ellos yo pagué la mitad y el concersionario pago la otra mitad, después de pasarse el carro una semana en dicho taller y yo sin poder trabajar ya que mi trabajo es de deliveries el día 15 de julio por fin recogí el carro. El día de hoy mi carro vuelve a presentar problemas y esta vez no es la batería es la transmisión y es lo que me pregunto falta tan solo 3 días para que se cumple el mes de yo aver tenido ese carro y ya a tenido tantos problemas, eso me da la ligera impresión que ese carro me lo vendieron así y ellos sabía todo esos problemas por eso es mi queja que me vendieron un carro que no sirve y que en menos de un mes se a roto ya dos veces me siento estafado y e perdido mucho dinero al tener el carro roto ya q ese es mi sustento de vida. Had the most amazing experience here! I just want to thank the whole team that helped me drive away in my new car! Ben, William, and Jeffrey… you three made it so easy to work with my budget and get everything taken care of for me. Ben was the salesman that helped from the inquiry all the way until I drove away with my car! He went above and beyond and wasn’t pushy like regular salesman can be on the lot. He made my whole experience very comfortable, as if we were just family friends looking at a car. All of their personalities were just friendly, down to earth, and kind. Victoria is a horrible saleswoman and a liar - joeypink

Had such a bad experience with this dealer. Walked in and waited around for 15min. No one came out to help us. Finally someone passed by and asked if we were being helped. We said no and that we were here to meet Victoria, who was expecting us. Victoria, took another 10min, to exit her office before finally greeting us with "Oh, u wanted to see _____ car. Let me get the keys". Well....good morning to you too. The car we were interested in would not start and Victoria, our negligent saleswoman, took 20min to jump it because it was in such a bad condition. Victoria went back inside as soon as it was started and did not say a word to us. Just handed us the keys and told us to drive. No explanation for why it did not start. We were also told before we drove it that it had ABS brakes. They insisted on this. Car did not have ABS breaks. They flat out lied to us. That was a dealbreaker for us so they already wasted so much of our time. They then told us to go outside in the freezing cold and snow and look at other cars to see what we liked. Are you kidding me? You have a website for a reason. Finally, after forcing the saleswoman, Victoria, to look on her website and find us a car, she found us one. We drove it and liked it. But it was obviously overpriced. We were not asking for much off but we were not comfortable paying the sticker price. She would not budge even 1 penny. It was embarrassing dealing with such a horrible saleswoman. She made us feel like we were wasting her time. We were in her office for 10min max and we started to get the feeling we were unwelcome in her office space. I felt sick to my stomach. I loved the car but I would hate myself for buying it from such a horrible saleswoman. After looking at other cars that day, we even called her back later saying we were willing to drive back and pay in cash that very day for the car if she can meet us halfway ($500 less, so nothing crazy). She said no at first but after some pushing she said she would talk with her "manager". "Manager" said only $100 off. We asked to speak with her manager but she said she was the manager. What? So tl;dr: Victoria is a horrible salesperson who makes prospective clients feel like crap and is not willing to put any effort into selling cars. Also a liar.

This by far was the finest car buying experience of my life. My salesman Osvaldo and the finance manager Marco went above and beyond the call of duty to get me the car of my dreams. They helped me with every question I had, followed up promptly to every phone call and together gave me the best deal I could find after more than 2 months of searching for a car and trying to find a reputable dealer. I found one here at City Auto Sales. I live in California but this is where I decided to purchase my vehicle.

It was in the factory packaging but I didn’t have the receipt. Their computer showed the sales of the item and would have shown my purchase if they wanted to provide even basic customer service. My buying experience was not perfect, but the way the manager Igor handled it made it worth sharing. I came here from Salem to look for a car (range rover). I had gone to a different dealer in the area but had stopped here due to the other being crappy. I was tried, upset, and frustrated. One of the lead staff was tiding up another car he stopped what he was doing to take extra care of me and wife. I told him how the day was going and quickly meet all of our needs (sat down got food, water and uses of a nice restroom. After was able to look at every car on the lot ask thousands of questions and a few test dives later to find the right one. I was so happy I had my wife buy one too. They were a big help!!! Thank you John, Mario, Chris and everyone behind the scene.

Don't ever buy from them. I put a down payment on a car and they told me they were going to fix the check engine light and then I could come pick it up. I signed the papers and gave them my down payment. Three times they gave me a day that it would be done and now we are on day 11 and they still have my money and the car is not done. I spoke to Mario yesterday who told me they would have it done today (Saturday) and I told him I was going to come in today to either pick up my car or get my money back. He did not object to this. Upon arrival today, I was told that the owner was not there and he is the only person who could give me my money. They threatened to call the police when I told them I was not leaving until I got my money, which they still have. I will never recommend that anybody do business with this dealership. Mario, Pete, and Dan have made this experience particularly awful. They will keep your money and manipulate you. Do not do business with them and if you do I hope you don't have to work with Mario, Pete, or Dan.

I was promoted to write a review after my experience with Dick Hannah Dodge in Vancouver, WA where I have for the last twenty years had purchased and serviced my vehicles there. After todays visit Lum has a customer for life here’s what happened today: I have spent the last twenty years at Dick Hannah purchasing various vehicles some disappointing service some good. Today Saturday November 13, 2021 I stopped by the dealership in the am Shawn approached my vehicle I mentioned that I did not have an appointment, however; my check engine light was on for two days and asked if they would have time to check the engine needed reassurance that there was no major problem for me to get back to Long Beach, WA. Shawn said he could get me in and the cost to look at it would mean a few hours and $175 for diagnosing plus costs for repair Shawn did mention it would be fine as long as the check engine light is not flashing. I did make it back to Warrenton, OR and stopped in at Lums Jeep dealership I spoke to the service department and explained about the check engine light they asked me to wait a moment then they can take a look to give me a diagnosis well guess what 15 minutes later I had the diagnosis and saw where the squirrels were eating my wires where #5 was misfiring made an appointment to bring the car back in for Lums to fix the vehicle there was no charge and no pressure in where I take my car to get it fixed. I live in Vancouver, WA, however; I will dive to Warrenton, Ir to have my car repairs done and purchase of my new vehicle. The difference? Dick Hannah’s moto is “Believe in Nice” Lum’s “Believe’s in service” This has not been the first time at Lums when I’m in town and needed to have one of my vehicles looked at they were always right there to help and at most no charge. Lum’s you have a customer for life!

Happy to have found and purchased another cream puff from Powell Motors again. Knowing from my previous purchase several years ago... I again made the trip from Yakima to Portland for a great deal on a quality used car. The "Team" of Vince, Israel and Pam are able to provide well-maintained vehicles at a very reasonable and fair price. Very positively recommend Powell Motors if looking for a quality used rig at a fair price.
