I bought a used Outback from KFS that I planed on using a lot in the forest for recreation. The sales person, Desiree, was great. Everything else was terrible. They didn't disclose an accident where there was a clear, very poor repair. I had assumed there was because of the price, but didn't know for sure until I pulled the front bumper facia. They tried to sell it with dangerously worn tires, and calmed they didn't notice (on a car they had in their possession for 6 months. I heard noises after about 9 months - Then I replaced both tire rod assemblies. The extended warranty I bought (because I suspected SOME problems, again due to the pricing) was void due to their dereliction of duty as an agent. I paid $1300 for repairs, and ended up canceling the EW for a $1K loss. They had a "no mask" policy, this was fall 2021. I certainly won't be buying an Outback Wilderness from them.

My wife and I recently mad an offer on a 2013 Honda Civic sedan. They were asking 13,000, we agreed on 12,500 and went to sign the contract. We went in an office and the finance manager showed us a paper that had the deal itemized. 12,500 + a warranty for 2,300 that equaled 15,000 and change due to the warranty and DMV costs. The finance manager told us that the only way they can sell us the car for the agreed price of 12,500 was if we bought a 2,300.00 warranty because they wouldn’t make any money on the deal. So they wouldn’t sell us the car for the agreed on price of 12,500.00. Very unethical to agree on a price then not sell said car unless you buy a 2,300.00 warranty ! Beware beware beware of Medford Voltzwagon, Medford BMW or Medford Nisan. They are all owned by the same owner.

Even though this is a small dealership in a relatively rural area, the service department here is absolutely top-notch. Armando is a wonderful service advisor who is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have service techs who've been there for 20+ years working on Honda vehicles, and that experience shows. They already saved me money ($900+) on repairs that were misdiagnosed by larger corporate dealerships, and they did those repairs faster and were more communicative and transparent throughout the process. I've had some of the smoothest experiences here out of any dealership I've been to, and I trust them more too.

TL;DR They broke a part on my truck and refused to replace it. I recently took my truck in for an issue with the rear window. I had troubleshot the issue myself and been bounced between a couple body and glass shops, and finally took it to the dealer hoping they would have a quick fix. I detailed to the service advisor that only one small part on the regulator for the backlite window was malfunctioning. The cable spooler and motor were working correctly. I demonstrated for him opening and closing the window and was very explicit that the tech needed to focus on only the one part. When I got my truck back, the tech recommended an entire new regulator, to the tune of $1200, the part being only $200. I questioned the advisor, so he, the tech, and I all went out to the truck so the tech could show why he recommended such. He then showed that the cable inside the spooler had come unwound and was fraying and binding, which it was not when I dropped the truck off. When I asked why he hadn't looked at the one part I had pointed out, he said they normally just glue those down. I asked the advisor what the dealership was going to do since they had broken a part that was in working order before they touched it and he said they couldn't be held liable. The next day, I called the Service Manager. I told him the entire story, and he spoke to the tech (the advisor apparently quit that very night), then called me in the morning offering to go half on the labor for the replacement. Since Chrysler lists it as 4 hours for a 30 minute job, that would still be far higher cost than for me to replace it myself, so I refused. I should count myself lucky it's only a $200 part and they didn't break anything else.

I went in there to see if their prices could keep up with other dealers and bigger car lots; but they proved me wrong. The big dealers can not compete with the bigger lots. Their inventory was all nice and their prices were low. I told them what I wanted and what I wanted to spend and they made it happen. They also found financing companies who beat my previous APR quote. Overall a wonderful experience, I would do it again. Anything you notice later they are more than happy to make sure you are taken care of, THEE BEST customer service.

My girlfriend and I purchased a car two months ago from this business. We did a differed down payment to make a couple payments on it. Last night we received from a sheriff stating he has legal documents to take us to court with Thomas Auto Sales. We were panicked and immediately called Thomas Auto Sales and spoke with George Travis, a Finance Manager. He informed us that he could not access our file so we would have to wait until the next day. I spoke with him this morning, he states we never paid the last $160 of the down payment. I checked my bank statements and, admittedly, saw that the last $160 did not get paid. I asked about how they give customers notifications that their payment did not go through. He explained that they will call the customer, then send a letter, then if those did not work, file with the court. We only received one phone call from Thomas Auto Sales in the last two months. They left a voicemail and did not give a reason why. I called the salesman we worked with getting the car, Wilbert, and asked him what the phone call was about. He assured me he would find out and call me right back. That was two months ago. Never received a call back so my girlfriend and I figured we were fine. We have never received a letter from them as well. Fast forward to the call with George Travis and now we owe $271.90 with court filing fees. I was more than willing to pay the $160 on the spot and one of the filing fee's, so $200 for the inconvenience. George Travis told me he would see what he could do to reduce it down. He left me on hold for 5 mins, someone else picked up and transferred me back to him where he picked it up and realized he forgot about us, then explained he would only take off $16.90. This is outrageous. I understand it was my fault for the payment not going through the first time, but for us to receive no notification AT ALL, besides a sheriff calling us looking for us, is beyond shady and ridiculous. We will never do business with this company again. I urge everyone else who may want to deal with this company to consider this message. I could also go onto complain about the car we purchased, but we were in a hurry to get a halfway decent running vehicle and strapped for cash. So we got what we paid for. And then some.

Outstanding service from Mazen. We drove from Port Orchard, WA to Portland because the advertised vehicle appeared to be a good deal. There was a potential for light rain, so Mazen had the vehicle moved indoors for our viewing. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted looking over the vehicle with absolutely no pressure before taking it for a drive. The paperwork and transfer was quick and easy. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Bought 2nd vehicle. 1st one I put new motor in. Day I bought 2nd did not make it home before engine light came on. I bet they reset light no concern for safety of buyer. Immediately report in the following morning car in shop I wanted my down given back or a reliable vehicle. It was denied for four weeks my 18 year old had to pay 400 on insurance on vehicle not in our possession to use. Chevrolet dealer needed to reprogram brain of car then the Sole Savers manager said he undo the deal three weeks later still waiting for that to take place. Called today no return call. I called for my attorney to look into this manner and made complaint to BBB.

We recently bought a used 2020 Honda Civic Sport MT from Subaru of Portland and have been having issues with the vehicle. I have been in contact with Ted Schreiber, the used car sales manager, and he's been attempting to help us figure out what's wrong with the car. He appears to be helping on the surface, but we have not been able to get the car fixed in an appropriate time frame or to our satisfaction. After our purchase, the car was taken to Kendall Honda of Eugene for a warranty seat belt repair and I stated that I'm having issues with the car shifting roughly and noise coming from the clutch pedal. This service tech suggested that the clutch is worn out at 43k miles, which seems to be premature. After discussing this issue with the service advisor, Ian, he dug into the service paperwork on this vehicle. He noticed something odd, that a recovery specialist did a multi-point inspection on this vehicle before we purchased it. He was inclined to think that this vehicle has had a prior repossession history that was not disclosed to us when purchasing the vehicle. He also hinted that it may have been driven poorly, which has led to the transmission issues. This information was not disclosed by Subaru of Portland and has been viewed as "hearsay" by the Sales Manager, Ted. I've included copies of the correspondence with Ted via email, we've also spoken on the phone numerous times about these issues. The car was then diagnosed by the service department at Subaru of Portland and was deemed "inconclusive" even though one of the techs stated they did have familiarity of the issue with our car. Claiming that they cannot properly diagnose the issue, without a proper Honda technician or specialty tools, and it was supposedly sent to a local Honda service department. I have no paperwork on that diagnostic, but again we were told nothing is wrong with the vehicle. I've explained multiple times the issues we are having, only to be shrugged off like our issue doesn't seem to be valid. We are very frustrated with how this has been handled by the sales and service team and Subaru of Portland and feel that we have wasted our time and money by choosing to make a purchase with this dealership. We are unsatisfied with the drivability of the car and we have been instructed to "keep driving it" while they look for another similar option. We would end up losing money on this vehicle, should we trade it back into this dealer. This is not a satisfactory outcome and feel that we've been treated unfairly and duped into buying a car that had underlying issues with the clutch or transmission. Furthermore, the General Manager told us that he legally disclosed all information and did more than they should to help us. Ultimately leaving us on our own. Worst car buying experience we've ever had and will never return to any affiliated dealership.

I was so surprised by the amount of inventory that they had in stock. Some of the bigger corporate dealers don’t even have anything close to that. The prices are great and hard to beat. They do specialize in Reconstructed Auto cars but I didn’t even see where the damages were and they are upfront About it which is quite refreshing from a used auto dealer. I would recommend them.

These guys are crooks. Do not do business with these guys under any circumstance. Brody, Brent and Dave were dishonest at every opportunity. I bought a car on a Saturday with 70,000 miles on it and brought it back on Monday with transmission problems. Their mechanic Byron took a ride with me, told me it was normal because it's a "double clutch". The transmission continued to slip until it stalled out on mcandrews on Thursday and completely stalled out on Friday on hwy 62 forcing me to have to pull off the road, beyond unsafe. I immediately took it to the mechanic who said I needed a new transmission. The owner, Brody called me and told me he would make it right. Mind you, by this time i had only driven the car about 100 miles. The car spent a week in my possession and another with the mechanics. I went back to trade it as Brody said he would. He proceeded to attempt to sell another piece of junk with a airbag light on a few thousand dollars above blue book and was now offering 2000 less than i paid the week before on trade in. He told me he had to pay his people and i got the use of the car. His sad sack routine of he isn't making any money off either deal was incredibly insulting. He already ripped me off and fully intended to screw me further. VERY DISHONEST CROOKS AND LIARS. DO NOT GO HERE, GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
