This has been the worst experience here and I will never come back. I am a young college girl who does not need to spend unneeded money while dealing with men who are trying to scam me when I’m coming in for free services. I came in for a free oil change and tire rotation for my brand new hrv. The man that I spoke to at the desk knew this information as well. When I came in, he told me to wait at his desk so we could speak after he looks at my car. I should’ve known that was my first red flag. He then went on to tell me I needed a “differential” that would be $167 based on my car code. He made it seem like I needed a “differential” to go with my free oil change and tire rotation. He did not explain well what a “differential” was and did not explain that this was a whole other service that he was trying to get me to sign on. I even asked if this was normal with this maintenance deal new cars get, and he said yes. I talked on the phone the day prior and was made aware that everything would be free when I came in, so why is he trying to add a whole new service to my car when it doesn’t need it? I sat down and decided to reach out to people who works on cars, and I was told I was being scammed and I need to leave. I walked back up to his desk and I specifically told him that I do not want to do this anymore and I am uncomfortable. I told him multiple times I am not comfortable continuing this. He went out to talk with the tech guy and I waited at his desk for about another 5 minutes. He came inside and asked me “did you have any more questions”? I said no and that I needed my car keys and he acted completely baffled by the fact that I’m not continuing the services today. He then went on to say that he thought I meant I didn’t want to do the “differential” but still complete the oil change and tire rotation, because those are free. I told him I am not comfortable continuing service here and he went “ok”? He looked at me like I was crazy that I am not continuing the service when I already told him I was not comfortable continuing. He hid his rudeness by acting nice to me in some ways, and then was passive aggressive to me. I will make sure everyone I know does not do their business here. I can’t imagine how many women this place or specifically this man has scammed. It is such a shame because I had a great conservation on the phone the day prior and I walk into the store and this is what I had to deal with.
