Only reason I didn’t make this 1 star was because John Powell at the parts section and Luis Rivera at the car check up were great. They were both attentive and I felt the care they had for me when dealing with my issues; however, Allen Hartgrove deserved 0 stars if that was possible. I also got my vehicle from here 2 years ago and almost had no issues besides an add on that didn’t work that I had to get refunded for.
Allen left me for about 15 minutes to “get some information” from my vehicle. I saw him walk off with another client. Then he returned and said “sorry about that I just need to get some information from your vehicle.” Excuse me? Was that not what you were supposed to be doing to begin with? After I told him my desires to make a deal for a trade in, he comes back with a luxury trim level and an XLE one but had no information on the value of my trade or how much I would pay for each vehicle. I told him I wanted to pay less than 500 a month since that’s my current payment and I’m about to pay off the vehicle. Somehow, he returns ONLY having the breakdown for the luxury trim and not the other vehicle and the vehicle would have increased my monthly payment. My car’s payment was 28k after 10k down and he was offering me a 31k payment after my vehicle trade in. He clearly didn’t have the best intention for me in mind. Also, I don’t know if his computer didn’t work but he would walk away to figure out everything and he walked away 4 times. On the 5th time he was going to walk away, to figure out the price break down for the XLE vehicle, I told him my vehicle had been ready for a while and I was not interested anymore. He was a huge waste of time just trying to upsell me some luxury trim.
