Porsche Southpoint should be the first and only - mxk5020
Porsche Southpoint should be the first and only consideration for shopping, test driving, and shooting the breeze with a group of passionate enthusiasts (shout out to Gary Hamilton & Nathaniel Bunn) in the Raleigh/triangle area.
After a profoundly disappointing experience with another nearby Porsche dealership where I was told to expect a two year wait on securing an allocation on a 718 Cayman (never mind model production being scheduled to close well before my number would be called)…unless I was interested in purchasing a watch.
On a whim, I decided to visit Porsche Southpoint and what I anticipated being a 5 minute walk around the lot turned into a 2.5 hour chit chat with Gary on everything from Caymans to S2000s and Carolina route planning. By the end of the day, Gary and I configured the first of many CGTS 4.0 specs. No teeth pulling, no shrewd tactics, no tap dancing. Just a group of folks that love cars and the experience of connecting people with them. Just take a look at the models in the showroom on any given day and it’ll give you a sense the frequency and trust this group has with clients as well as Porsche HQ.
Long story short - Gary sent photos and videos of my new car on the lot while it was being cleaned and prepped and finally gave me a ring to pick my Cayman up. Nathaniel did as excellent a job as you’d expect in helping manage dealership option packages as well as chit chatting on whether I’ll get the track bug.
Go to Southpoint and you’ll save yourself from wasting time, money, and patience elsewhere.
