End of June 2025, we are driving home and passing through Sanford NC. The "Check Engine Oil" indicator comes ON. Very fortunately, a GOOGLE search on my phone finds Hiester CJDR only 6 miiles from my location. Got to the dealership OK, went to Service Office, and met Bill Perry. I explained our emergency, he was able to immediately get the JEEP into a repair slot. The Technician Mr. Garcia-Alcantar found the oil pressure sensor had split and was leaking oil..... So, new part installed, an oil change and a new filter, and a complete complimentary Factory Multi-Point inspection, and we were on our way. 6 hours later we arrived home, the JEEP ran flawlessly. I highly recommend this dealership and its attention to customer service. Also, it is a great location near my kids, should I ever need any maintenace done on my JEEP. Thank you to all the crew at Hiester CJDR, this was a superior and worry-free experience. - Mark S.

The service department is absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to anyone!! I have purchased 2 jeeps from there now. The sales guy i had and finance guy are wonderful. But service is a joke. I purchased extra stuff on my first jeep, like oil changes and if i ever had an issue with a tire they would fix it Well first time i go to use it they tell me i dont have that coverage. I took my contract up there and showed them they were wrong! They will not work with you around your schedule, and are down right rude. I ended up canceling the service contract. 2nd jeep i got needed a part, sales guy went and ordered the part before i ever drove off the lot with the car, was supposed to be fixed the next week. Almost 1 month later they have still never called me. When i would call up there i could never get past the woman who answers the phone. She said she would call back an never did. Finally one day this week i got a different woman on the phone and she did her job! She had a manager calling me back within 30 minutes. Which lets not give this manager the credit, i got up with the guy that sold me the jeep and HE got stuff done! He went back there and found out they had the part but never called me, claimed they didnt know who to call. Service finally called me to schedule an appointment and i told them, i was promised a rental so we had to schedule out to a day one would be available. Show up at the scheduled appointment time, no rental... this was 930, by 1230 we were being told we would have to reschedule... now in this period of time one would think they would have been working on my car right? Nope. Never even touched it.. I will never set foot in that service dept or recommend it!

I needed my transmission services for scheduled maintenance. They were super busy and only had appointments out about a month. I was told to come in the next morning and they would work me in. Upon getting there at 7:30 they seemed confused and said I had to schedule it. After I told them that I was told to come in they chatted for awhile and finally said they would do it while I waited. My advisor was Jose/Juan (apologies for now recalling) I believe and he was super friendly and helpful. I’m very happy how it turned out and no longer worried about the transmission.

We bought a truck with a 30 day warranty. The transmission has now went out and since we have drove more than 1000 miles we are SOL. The dealership said there was nothing that they could do about it. You should not sale vehicles with bad transmissions and then do nothing about it to help your customers. Very disappointed.

Service department takes advantage of out of town workers. Truck towed to dealership while out of town working. Supposedly did diagnostic( charge 209 just for them to generate a report the day I called -6/12/25, Truck towed in three weeks prior. Quoted 18000 for a motor, diagnostic report stated 22000 for a motor. Had towed back to home of record and local dealership fixed with 700 dollar radiator. Caught service manager in numerous lies. Be aware if you take your car to their service department. They will lie, over charge, and lie to cover themselves. Sad a dealership in a military town takes advantage of our soldiers and veterans like myself. Will never return to dealership, and will buy another Dodge.

We made the first mistake of purchasing a manual 2021 Mohave Gladiator, clutch gave overheat error the first time out on the beach. We had just had the recall done 2 weeks prior at another dealer. We took it to this dealer, and he said the clutch needed replacement. We called Mopar Headquarters, and were told it was under warranty- this dealer said he was not honoring the Mopar warranty and wanted $2800 to replace it. We said no, had it towed to dealer that did recall. The dealer in Midlothian, ran diagnostic and said there was nothing wrong with the clutch. There was another customer there with the same vehicle, he had brought his in 4 times with an emergency brake problem, they were telling him he had to pay for it as well. Would recommend steering clear of this dealer.

Wagoneers are dented on rear hatch 2023/2024! MFG DEFECT! Beware!! Do not buy! Jeep not standing behind defect. Expect customers to accept defective product! $80k for defective dents! Legal is involved. Jeep needs to issue national recall per 4 different dealers! Owners/Jeep rep make fun of buyer in back office! Have recording! Have not once reached out to customer to try and fix issue! They will not stand behind product! MFG OR OWNER! RUN!!!

Gave me a great price on the vehicle I wanted and a great price on my trade in. I am very pleased with everything. The dealership is an older one, but it's the people and the way one is treated that matters. Highly recommend !!! Best deal ever ! Smooth as silk transaction ! I would buy from again in a heartbeat!
