This review is longer than originally intended, so I'll - mikeweneta
This review is longer than originally intended, so I'll insert this TL;DR version of my experience at Genesis of Winston Salem: After the prepurchase inspection, I decided to charge up in the parking lot for the trip home. As I was pulling out, Stacy was leaving at the end of the workday. She asked if I was happy with my choice, and my answer was a reflexive and enthusiastic "Absolutely!", and applies to both Genesis, and Genesis of Winston Salem.
I was highly impressed with the people at Genesis of Winston Salem and Genesis writ large. Stacy was fantastic to work with, as she kindly guided me through the process. I was grateful for her willingness to discuss her observations about the vehicle I had purchased and walk through the results if the inspection. She is a remarkable brand ambassador and a joy to work with. Matt assisted me with the car even before I checked in, and after the inspection I appreciated the fact he took time to show me the different components of my new-to-me car and explain how the EV system worked. It was great to learn from someone so knowledgeable who could help me better understand the vehicle. I also had the opportunity to meet briefly with Emily and Jay, and both of them were wonderful to work with as well. Genesis of Winston Salem seemed to have a culture which made the consumer experience better that what I have seen before at other dealerships where interactions were always professional but seemed more transactional.
I live ~120 miles away from Winston Salem, and travel regularly to Richmond and Raleigh (both of whom have Genesis dealers), but based on my interaction with Stacy, Matt, Emily, and Jay, I will gladly visit the team there for maintenance/repairs and, hopefully several years from now, a second Genesis vehicle.
