Chris was great! He checked me in for my appointment and had me in a loner and on my way back to work in less than 20 minutes. My undercoating was also completed quickly and my car was returned earlier than expected with a free clean and care kit to boot!

Chris Mondolfi welcomed us and he was very kind, professional and efficient. The technician also done a great job. This is our first time for the service. Sure we will come back! I purchased my third and first new outback at this dealership because of the service on my prior Outback. If my car needs to stay overnight I am given a loaner. The service people explain everything and are on top of their game. And the service manager is available for answers too.

I’ve been bringing my Outback to this dealer since it was new. Jamie Nussbaum has gone above and beyond insuring that my appointment is expeditiously processed along with a thorough inspection. His focus and attention to detail gives me the confidence that my vehicle is in its best operation range. I appreciate and I’m most grateful to have Jamie Nussbaum’s full support. I have one suggestion for East Hills Subaru. I would highly recommend a new protocol for all sales. I would have potential customers be introduced to Jamie Nussbaum. Most people do not trust “Car Salespeople “. The lack of trust and ultimately lack of confidence initiates a poor customer/dealer relationship. I had a problem with the Subaru Forester 2021 that I purchased in November of this year. No fault of Donaldson's but the part needed to fix it kept getting delayed. This was the only means of transportation for myself and my husband. Donaldson provided us with a rental car but after almost a month we went in only to find out the part still had not shipped and was probably another month out. At that time we spoke with Zack Fox, our Sales Rep and decided that we would trade our Forester in for another car. We also met with Steve Fulco, General Manager of Sales Operations and are very happy to say we are the proud owners of a 2021 Outback. Thank you for making this an easy transition and am really happy with the outcome. HAPPY ENDING!!!!!

Unfortunately after just 400 miles. The right front strut on my daughters impreza limited was defective. The Cracker jack technician diagnosed the problem and replaced the unit. This staff at Subaru has years of experience behind them. And give you what you would expect at a high end dealership, such as lexus. 5 stars for all involved.

If a dealer is scheduling several weeks out it usually means they provide honest and excellent service so EVERYONE wants to go there!!! If I need a New York State Inspection I know a whole year in advance and plan for it as responsible people should. I have also used their EXPRESS SERVICE without an appointment for simple services such as an inspection and oil changes and I LOVE IT!!!! To Mr 1 Star Negativity you should know they and all other dealers offer EXPRESS SERVICE quit being ENTITLED AND RUDE please be respectful!!!!

I brought my 2023 Subaru Ascent in for a braking issue (grinding / pulsing) to Van Bortel after taking it to another Subaru dealer in our area. The previous shop wanted to apply a band aid fix and not address the core issue. Van Bortel assessed the issue and replaced defective parts against the vehicles warranty. All the staff were friendly and helpful, a loaner vehicle was provided. I was treated with respect and made me feel welcome. I wish I had bought my car there. All our future maintenance will be done at Van Bortel going forward.
