I'm going to cut straight to the chase: There's a fantastic reason why this is the best auto dealership in the state of New Hampshire....thier service department and customer relations folks are simply head and shoulders above anyone or anyhow in the state. I've been around for more than 80 years and I know what I'm talking about!!!! I've dealt with car dealerships in four different states and the difference is absolutely clear. Irwin knoxs the all out of the park....especially their department... Those folks are fair, patient, easy to talk with, and sensible with their pricing. This is, without a doubt, the best experience one could hope for when in search of a new or used car.The moment we arrived, instead of being "attacked" by a swarm of sales people, we were warmly greeted by Chu Lassor, who encouraged us to take our time and look around and that she would be right there, should we have any questions. No pressure, no sales pitches, she just gave us the chance to look at the extensive inventory on our own. We found a few semi-finalists and then sat with Chu. She offered knowledgeable info about color choices, trim levels and was just so great at helping us to find the vehicle that was perfect and the Sales Mgr. was just as polite and easy going and it was clear that this was a family atmosphere where they are not just trying to make a sale. It is worth the drive from anywhere to actually be treated like a friend and now I know why and how Hampton Ford Hyundai earns so many 5 star reviews, so here's one more. I purchased a new, used 2017 Tucson from this dealership at the beginning of May. But the first week of June, I experienced total engine failure. It took putting up a bad review for them to take the issue seriously. Before the review, I was told basically I was on my own. Once the review went up, they started to do the right thing.. until they tried to stick me with a $500 tab. I will never go back and I will tell anyone and everyone that the old assumption about used car dealers trying to screw customers over continues to be reinforced by Autofair.
