First off, I’m qualified to write this review. I have purchased dozens of automobiles from dozens of dealers over the years. In general, they haven’t been good experiences.
Dealer personnel are often trained to be unethical. Hiding charges. Pushing unnecessary charges and even overt lying. Unfortunately for Corwin, I had just walked away from one of the worst dealer experiences of my life in Northern California. The worst of the worst. Lies. Misrepresentations. Deception. You name it.
All I wanted to do was pay this dealership the price they advertised plus tax and license and drive away. Cash. And they couldn’t do it. They had to try and defraud me.
So when I arrived at Corwin, I was a little bit wary. A little bit defensive. But dealing with Juan Carlos (JC), Brad the manager and Bob in Finance was so pleasant and normal, it was almost weird:) Their business model is based on selling cars at a decent price and moving on to the next customer. It’s not dependent on squeezing every nickel they can out of every deal.
It says a lot about Corwin that they hire good hearted, ethical people. We drove 3.5 hours each way to purchase our truck—and it was MORE than worth it. No weird extended negotiations. No pressure. No stalling. They acted like they were actually concerned about our time and inconvenience. They explained every detail to a fault. Trying their best to be transparent, rather than obscure.
I cannot recommend Corwin enough. Outstanding in every way.
