I am especially grateful to Mel (Melissa) Nowak for her exceptional kindness and professionalism at a time I most needed the help. My husband was in Hospice care at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak and I needed service done on my vehicle. Mel arranged to have me dropped off and the vehicle delivered back to the hospital which allowed me to spend more time with David. She did this without me asking for any favors. She is a true asset to the Subaru Service Dept. and I consider her my friend.

Dealership staff damaged my vehicle deliberately because - Big Disappointment

Dealership staff damaged my vehicle deliberately because apparently the salesman and finance employee got their panties in a knot when I refused any dealership add ons. Should you decide to purchase a vehicle there, make sure you check it up and down inside and out before driving off the lot. These guys will smile in your face and act polite while damaging your vehicle and then telling you that you should have purchased the offered protection plans. I have purchased many new and used cars from dealerships and never had this occur. This damage was found when we took it directly home from the dealer so there is no uncertainty as to how or where it occurred. It was not on the car all along. The vehicle was closely inspected after the first incident was reported and while the car was in their service area being inspected, it suddenly came back with additional damage, I thought they were a local reputable dealership but wow was I wrong.

I don't recommend this dealership at all, just save your time and hassle of dealing with them. They try to rip you off which is ridiculous and they do have very sleazy and deceptive marketing tactics to get you into the door. They wasted my time twice now this year by sending me offers in the mail asking me to come in for a trade in offer. When I go into the dealership they straight out lowballed on the trade in despite my car being clean. Their offer was no where near what they promised and it was $6000 to 8000 low than the KBB, Carfax and Blackbook values. Even on the service side, it's ridiculous in the way they try to rip you off. They quoted me $190 to reprogram 2 sets of keys rofl. I got the same service done at Jeffrey Kia for less than half the price at $80. It's just absurd how these guys treat their customers

Buying my new car here was the best car buying experience I ever had. My salesperson, Dylan, was so knowledgeable about the Jeep brand, actually listened to exactly what I wanted in a car, was super patient and helpful with all my questions, was very transparent throughout the process, and followed up to see how things were going after the purchase. He even went above and beyond scheduling an in person meeting with me a week after the purchase to answer more questions I had. Rob and Sara on the finance side were exceptional, too. The facility is immaculate and the waiting area has exceptional amenities. Overall everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and very committed to making sure I got what I want, my questions were answered, and that I was super happy with my purchase and the total experience. I LOVE my new Jeep Grand Cherokee, will only go to this dealership from now on, and will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know.

My wife's lease on her F-150 was close to being up and with her being spoiled by driving 4x4 trucks for the last 6yrs., she wanted another one. We decided to purchase a used vehicle this time around as lease's are outrageous now. Erik sold us a 2021 Silverado at a great price with no Bulls%#t and low mileage. Needless to say, she is very happy with it as I am too. I'm sure there are other great sales persons at Bates Chevrolet but Erik is my sales guy for any future purchases. I had gone to another Chevy dealership and the salesman there did not listen to me & attempted to get me to purchase an Equinox that he said was what HE felt I needed. I obviously left without purchasing the Equinox (although it was a nice car) & a couple of days later while driving down Ford Road I felt compelled to pull into Gordon Chevrolet when I was passing by. I am SO very glad that I did! As I was looking around their used car lot I was approached by Kyle Hunt and he listened to my wants/needs/concerns and within 1/2 hour he helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. I purchased a 2020 Trax from them and their Finance Manager, Dave Finegold, went above & beyond to get me a loan. I have poor credit and was told by the other dealership that I would never be able to obtain a loan but Dave made it happen & I will forever be grateful to Kyle & Dave for making the process quick & painless! The customer service I received was a breath of fresh air. Todd Woodbury was my salesman and it was the first time that I’ve done business with Richardsons. I was beyond happy with the service that I received. No pressure and no back and forth nonsense. Todd made sure that I got what I thought was a great deal. Chip handled the finance end of the deal and it was extremely quick, smooth and very easy. The overall experience with Todd, Chip and Richardsons was outstanding. I will definitely do business with them again and I will highly recommend them to friends and family.

The service here is terrible. - me

The service here is terrible. They are always short-staffed on technicians. It takes weeks to get an appointment. When you finally get your vehicle in for the appointment, it can be several days before someone looks at it. Recently, they had my car for a couple of weeks, saying that the part they needed was held up in Mexico. I went into the office only to find out that the part had arrived a week before. I've had to bring my vehicle in multiple times to address the same issue. The first time they misdiagnosed it, they fixed the wrong issue. The second time, they claimed to fix it, only to find out that the problem still existed the next day. It won't be long before I sell this car and move on from Jeep.
