I have taken my car to Serra Honda for repairs from the start. I was always given exceptional service. When I moved to a new town I used the local Honda dealership for repairs. After a few scheduled repairs with the new dealership, I remained dissatisfied. So I came back to Serra Honda where I know I will be taken care of right even though it’s an hour drive away.

I had purchased my Honda CR-V Hybrid from Suburban in Oct ‘23. I came back in Jan ‘24, & spoke with Svc mgr Jeff Smith, who was Extremely Helpful & Informative in answering a bundle of questions I had for him, & I drove away Completely Satisfied. So, on Wed 5/29/24, I drove in again, & asked for Jeff, so he could set up my 1st oil, filter & tire rotation (7,400mi). Jeff was off that day, but Brenden Miller was there, and checked to see the wait time for today. He returned & told me 1hr 10min, so I left my CR-V, and after 25min, Brenden announced that my car was ready! Brenden was the perfect “fill-in” for Jeff Smith, Both having excellent Customer Service Skills! My newest opinion of Suburban Honda is that “Every employee here should be teaching Customer Service Skills to Honda USA Corporate Staff! Suburban is the BEST!!….

I hate writing this (it's not my style), but I feel I have to. Today I was in the service department for the second time and was very it was frustrating. Last week I brought my 2019 Honda CRV in for tire rotation, oil change and the recall for the fuel pump on 9/5/24. The person who scheduled the appointment never told me I had to leave the car, it was not until I got there that I found out to my dismay. I was not happy, but a made appointment for the following week 9/11/24 to have the recall taken care of. Unfortunately, again I was not told the car had to have 1/4 tank of gas now I'm furious!! This means I have to bring the car back again, which I won't, I'll go to another dealership. I went back to the gentle man who had taken care me the first time and ask "Why didn't you tell me the car need 1/4 tank of gas?" His response was "oh yes we can't work on with a full tank of gas" My response was "why did you tell me that last week" He came back with "don't raise your voice at me." I was angry after two trips from the east side and the issue still not resolved. I did raise my voice but I was not screaming, it was a frustrated voice which was clearly evident and appropiate. I have had good service in the past, but now I'm going somewhere else. This was too much!!! The gentleman should have known my frustration and should have understood my situation. This was the gentleman who always wears the white cap backwards. In the past he has been very accommodating and pleasant, I don't know what happened, but he should have understood and accepted my frustration, Two strikes and you'er out.... I'll find another dealership for fix the recall I'm done with Ferndale Honda! Regina

I have bought Hondas for years because they are so reliable. This week I needed to bring in my 2013 CRV for a "hesitation" at lower speeds, and Honda service fixed it. But not only did they fix it, it was free of charge, because Honda had determined some older vehicles developed this same problem so they provided an automatic extended warranty. All labor and service was covered free! I am so impressed! Their vehicles are great, salesman Jason was so helpful and informative when I purchased the CRV, and their customer service (if any repair should be needed) far exceeds expectations!

Jon is only mechanic I'll let touch my car. Sure I pay more using a dealers service dept but the piece of mind is worth it. Jon has done the services on my last 3 Honda vehicles and the work has always been perfect. John at service desk is always friendly and helpful.

The service representative Mike Vang is great to work with. He is knowledgeable and answers all of my questions/concerns on the car, and provides me advice on my car even if I am not at the dealership.

I had my Honda in for repairs covered under warranty. The service manager set me up with a loaner car when a part had to be ordered so that the repairs could be completed after the part arrived. I was very grateful to have a car to use and to get the repair done in a timely manner. While my car was there, service also went ahead and did the oil change and tire rotation so I would not have to come back.

Bought a certified used vehicle there, they also talked me into the extended Zurich warranty for an extra grand. I brought my vehicle there for all service/oil changes every 5K miles, no issues for 2 years. I then brought it in for service for some rattling in the engine, they told me my 6 year old CRV had “no oil”, the piston rings were now sticky and it needed a new engine. They wouldn’t cover anything, saying it was my fault for not checking oil level. The engine had never smoked, no smell, no leaking, no engine light had ever came on…..no matter, insisted it was my fault, warranty was null and void. After I appealed, the regional manager eventually called me months later, said he couldn’t do anything for me, nada, nothing, not a penny. I won’t even mention here how I feel about the Fox service dept. Hope they sleep well at night.

We brought my wife's 2020 Honda Fit in for service today because the car required a jump start earlier in the day. Chris O'Lear on the service team brought the car in for service earlier than the scheduled appointment so my wife would not have to wait. They did a thorough evaluation of the battery and determined that it needed replacement (fortunately it was under warranty). After my wife checked out, he texted me to let me know the rest of the electrical system was fine and that the battery replacement resolved the issue. Chris' professionalism and excellent customer service was most appreciated.
