Experienced a transmission problem literally on the last - Josh.ely

Experienced a transmission problem literally on the last day of warranty coverage. Called Ford Warranty and they said it HAS to go to a dealership today and have a work order started today to be covered. I called the closest dealership, said they don't have a transmission tech and turned down the work. Called next closest dealership, said they are setting appointments 4 months out and that I can't take it to them today to start a work order, I'd have to make the appointment and wait 4 months (which would be past warranty). Finally called Pat Miliken and explained the situation. I was told to get down there before they close and they'd handle the rest. Pulled in one hour before they closed, the wrote up the paperwork and told me that it might take a couple of weeks before they could look at it BUT I technically had it in service and if the issue was covered under warranty, I'd be covered. Such a stressful day until I contacted Pat Miliken Ford. I wish I could remember the employees names, might have been Julie and Juliet.. I don't remember but I am so thankful that they were willing to help.

I wanted to give the Service Managers here a big shout out!! I don't live in MI but have a Brighton Ford in CO. I was having trouble getting ahold of anyone that would tell me what was going on with my vehicle and emailed the wrong dealership. I have gotten 3 calls from the service managers and their managers!! to see if there was anything they could do to help. I even had them calling my dealership on my behalf to try to get me help!! Talk about customer service I was impressed. I wish it wasn't such a long drive from Colorado I would come to this dealer ship for my repairs!!! Thank you from CO!!!!!!

The General Manger Erwin Kendrick and Service Manager Stephanie Leugers went above and beyond my expectations. On May 29, 2023, My 2022 Ford Shelby GT500 started smoking around 2:40 pm. I called several Ford Dealerships in the area and none of them could get me in until the third week of June. Cole Ford said if I could get my car to them by May 31, they could look at my car. I had my car towed to Cole Ford on May 30. On May 31, Cole Ford called and said they found the problem. It was the transmission oil cooler leaking. Erwin Kendrick and Stephanie Leugers also help facilitate the repair and helped with the question I had with Ford. They handled it all in a professional manner. It was longer than expected repair. Cole Ford had the part well before the fluid was available. Ford Motor Company was unable to get the fluid to fix my car because it was on backorder. I am pleased with Cole Ford and would recommend them.
