To say this dealership has deceptive business practices, - caleb
To say this dealership has deceptive business practices, does not deal in good faith, lies and is discrimitory is an understatement! If you want a dealership to waste countless hours of your time; schedule appointments and still make you wait; OUTRIGHT SELL A VEHICLE to someone else when you already have a scheduled appointment with them to purchase; discriminate against you because you are young; then this is the dealership for you!
I contacted the dealership on November 2nd to inquire about a Z71 Tahoe that was in transit. They informed me it would arrive on 8th. They scheduled me for an appointment for Noon on the 9th. I arrived at scheduled time, had to wait 20 minutes for this appointment to speak to the salesperson, see and test drive the vehicle, only to be told the vehicle didn't arrive.
November 10th, they contacted me via text, told me the vehicle had arrived. I asked them for appointment and they did not respond. I was finally able to secure an appointment for November 21st. I test drove vehicle, they valued my trade and vaguely gave me some payment options.
Monday the 27th they reached out to me via text (and all communications were done this way). As I had explained to them on the test drive on the 21st, I had to see about the costs and timeframe in which to remove my emergency lights from my current vehicle and get them transferred to the new Tahoe Z71 because I'm a Firefighter. They started assisting me with trying to get quotes for the light removal and reinstall. I was impressed they were stepping up their game after the bad taste from the previous first interaction. That same Monday evening we came to an agreement that I would come in Wednesday morning to purchase the Z71 Tahoe. They had offered me an appointment for Tuesday but only 2 available times. I work second shift so 3:00 didn't work and the one morning appointment also didn't work as I had a previously scheduled appointment, so we agreed upon 10:45 Wednesday morning.
Tuesday the 28th @ 8:23AM they sent me a text asking me to confirm the appointment for Wednesday the 29th @ 10:45AM, I confirmed the appointment at 9:04AM. At 4:43PM, I inquired if they had received the quote for the light swap. At 5:30PM they texted and said they had someone come in and put down a non-refundable $1000 deposit on the vehicle I was to purchase at 10:45 the very next morning. WHAT?!
Why would someone be test driving a vehicle that was sold? They never asked for a deposit in any of the text conversations we had Monday or Tuesday. Why wasn't the vehicle being prepped for delivery that night so when I arrived the next morning I wouldn't have to wait? What happened to the appointment I had the next morning to purchase the vehicle? These were all questions I asked the dealership after receiving a text that they received a deposit on the vehicle I was purchasing. I tried phoning for over an hour, even though I was at work, and kept getting "this call may be monitored for quality purposes. Sorry the mailbox you are trying to reach is full". I tried every number I could find for this dealership.
The proof is in the text messages from the dealership, admitting we were to finalize my sale next day. I definitely responded to William P., in a professional manner, though I did not want to, and he never responded. The only response I received from this dealership was an automated text message Wednesday morning asking me to once again confirm my appointment for later that morning. An appointment for what? They sold the vehicle I was to purchase! The assumption, from this dealership, that a young "kid" couldn't possibly afford a Z71 Tahoe is quite evident. I would never recommend this dealership and by writing this review, I hope I am able to provide fair warning to others.
