Very dishonest, deceitful, untrustworthy, and straight up - Dbryant73
Very dishonest, deceitful, untrustworthy, and straight up crooks. I have had bad experiences with dealerships, but this one far exceeded anything I have ever experienced before. I will list the comedy of errors my wife and I were subjected to, buyer beware. We never received a survey, it would hurt them financially. That’s all that matters
1) Within 20 minutes we signed paperwork to buy the Wrangler.
2) The payments were agreed to.
3) In the back office, it was presented gap insurance was included as well as debt and scratch coverage. We found an additional charge of $2100.00 on the paperwork. How did the payment not increase if $2100 was added to the cost? It was a straight up scam, and both departments were in on it!
4) Somehow the Sales and the back office figured this money into our payments before any documents were signed. The monthly payment never changed from the first agreement. They scammed us out if $2100, if we had not read the breakdown, we would have never caught it.
5) Mr.Diaz, was very open to refunding us our money, as he knew they were caught. His words, “What will it take to make this go away?”
6) Mr. Diaz was not there to help, he was told to call from the owner, Mr.Kardon. Mission was to pay us back to shut us up. As Mr. Diaz said to me multiple times, “Are you done talking now?” Clearly had no interest in our issues, self centered, arrogant attitude. You will get no where with the owner Mr. Kardon, as he just does not respond.
7) The Jeep we received had 20 miles on it, the Jeep we test drove and wanted had 35 miles on it. Our paperwork shows 35 miles. They told us we would get one Jeep then switched it for another.
7) They opened up 2 loans under our name, canceled the first one , opened a second one, then paid off the car loan, so we were stuck trying to figure out how and why.
8). Car was delivered these were the issues:
Left fender clear shield and was chipped
Both running boards were damaged
Paint was chipped above passenger front door
Underside of car was muddy
Paint was chipped on roof rail
Dirt nibs on drivers rear rocker
Excessive paint build up on front pillar by windshield
Dirt nibs under windshield
9) Radio was not working, lots of static
10) We dropped it off for radio to be fixed and body work fixed. We put zero pressure for completion of repairs. 2 1/2 weeks went by, no updates so we called. This is how this process went:
We were told radio was fixed
Car went to body shop
Received call (from service department) car was on its way back from body shop, would be ready in 2-3 days. When we questioned this, they said, “We want to detail the car, but we are backed up” straight up lie.
They then told us, they needed to order an antenna for the Jeep.
(Remember, we were told the radio was fixed.)
Received another call, antenna is in, radio is all set, we need another day or two, so we can detail your car.
When my wife questioned this, Verinuca hung up on her.
I then called and expressed no need to detail the Jeep, we will just pick it up.
When my wife went to pick up the Jeep, the radio still had static.
One Manager actually told her, “If you move the Jeep out of the parking spot, the radio will work better!” A straight up lie and insult to my wife’s intelligence!
11) Body work was not completed;
Running boards were never changed
They fixed the left fender, never put the clear shield back on. They simply took the clear shield off the right fender, hoping we would not notice. Another manger said to my wife “ I would never know the car had near shield , how would you”. My wife then explained, “My husband runs a Collision Center, he would know!” Why was this even challenged.
12) My wife, after many conversations had them give us our money back.
This place is crooked, deceitful, try to undermine customers knowledge and have zero customer service skills. Not one portion of our experience went well, from sales, service to the body shop. BEWARE!
