About two years ago, I got quite a abysmal experience with Darcars Volvo Rockville's sale department. So, when I had to get some service done on my car, I was very hesitant in going in to Darcars Volvo service center. But I am glad to say that what the sales department lacks, the service department makes up for. In the last 20 months, I have been to the Darcar Volvo's service department 4 times. 3 times, I dealt with Jimmy Wong, and once I worked with Christian Davis. Both of these gentlemen were superb to work with. My last visit was a couple of weeks ago when I went in for my 2 years/20k miles service. While Christian was signing me in, he asked me if there is any issue(s) that I want them to look at as well. I told Christian about this one issue that I noticed in my car in the last few months where the steering would vibrate a little on highway speeds. I was expecting him to say "oh that is new and we never heard of it" but instead, he told me that he will certainly look in to it and will try his best to resolve it. I was ready to give him a full shabang of all of the posts and forums I read about this issue and that it is a known issue for my particular vehicle, because I thought they would not look in to it. But, to my surprise, Christian was aware of the issue and was more than willing to help me with it. All in all, I am quite happy to work with the Darcars Volvo's service department. It feels like they genuinely care about their customers, and every time I visited them, I did not feel like they were trying to rush things over. Both Jimmy and Christian, and also the South-Asian gentleman in the vehicle drop off bay (sorry I did not catch his name) are super courteous and a pleasure to talk to. Hope to see you soon for my next service.

Very personable and friendly, my family’s dealings with Sheehy Hunt Valley Volvo were outstanding! Our salesperson was AWESOME and the finance guy was helpful and honest I would gladly refer all my friends to this dealership!

The employees in this dealership are completely unprofessional.. I was about to purchase a car from them but decided to go elsewhere when they began playing haggle games. The salesman would quote me one price- then the manager would qoute me another. I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. The managers were rude and the obese finance guy (john) was a crook. I ended up buying my s80 from annapolis volvo. What a diference!! A beutiful showroom full of friendly employees who were there to help me-not to scam me. I purchased the same car for much less, and with a much better finance rate. I would recomend anyone interested in a volvo to purchase thiers at annapolis volvo- they appreciated my business. I would have rated Village Volvo all zeros, but 1s where the lowest rating available.

I had initial bad service experiences here, but recently, after needing to return as my usual Volvo dealer could get me in in a timely manner, I think differently of service and sales . Jermaine , sales helped me out so much by contacting the service manager on a Saturday, as my vehicle xc60 inscription’s FOB had shorted out , windows , hatch , alarm was up and down, going off . Plus Denny the service manager aptly called me immediately after I had left him a message of ‘unhappiness’ as I had just got it home the night before. So Thanks you all !
