I brought the vehicle in for a Mercedes-Benz recall. I had to leave the vehicle for,service. I was offered a ride home by Uber and was told that the dealership "would take care of it." I assumed ( incorrectly) that meant that the dealership would cover the cost. They did not. My cost was around $49.00. I was not offered a loaner. The work was completed and as always, although expensive, (they found other issues that needed corrections) the work was done efficiently and accurately. For what was done, review of the rear sub floor, windshield wiper replacement and battery replacement should have been performed while I waited. The service writer was professional and polite. Explanation regarding my Uber experience could have been better.
