I took my suburban in on August 26th with transmission - hoffs32
I took my suburban in on August 26th with transmission problems and finally picked it up today roughly 40 days later. The only reason I took it to them in the first place was they told me they could have me in and out the same week. Vick was very responsive until the extended warranty company would not go along with his $6800 quote for a new transmission. Everything I researched online indicated to expect $3,000-$3500 to replace a transmission in a Suburban. The responsiveness stopped at that point and all fingers were pointed at the extended warranty company. Of course they do not offer loaner vehicles, so I was forced to pay for my own rentals and Ubers. My total out of pocket cost was close to $2K versus next to nothing if I wouldn't have fell for the we can have you done this week line and stuck with my normal repair facility. Although, I asked several times to speak to a service Mgr., I never was able to do that. Maybe they don't have one and that is the problem. I have never had a more frustrating repair experience in my life.
