I don’t typically leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. My experience with Volvo of Orland Park was extremely disappointing and, frankly, concerning. While my vehicle was in their care, the frame under my door was bent—damage that was never repaired, acknowledged properly, or compensated. I provided three professional estimates ranging from $1,700 to $3,400 to restore the vehicle to its original condition, and nothing was done. On top of that, the bolts securing my front struts were cross-threaded, which caused noticeable popping noises and left the connection loose. A local mechanic confirmed this likely contributed to me having to replace my right front CV axle at a cost of $578. What makes this even more troubling is that, as an employee, I was expected to confidently stand behind and promote both the vehicles and the service. It’s widely known internally that I wasn’t the only one this has happened to. If this is how employees’ vehicles are treated, it raises serious concerns about how customer vehicles are handled. I would strongly recommend exercising caution and getting a second opinion if you’re considering service here.

I had a pleasant experience at this dealership. I worked with Tola and he is not your typical car salesman. He was very accommodating, allowing me to take the car I was looking at to a mechanic I trust and have them inspect the car. When negotiating, Tola did not apply the pressure that most car salesmen do and was receptive to the counteroffer provided and helped us come to an agreement that worked out for both sides. For anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealer, make sure to work with Tola, you will not be disappointed.

Akrim A. deserves a great dept of gratitude from me. I had what seemed like a very minor condition materialize with my Jaguar the night before I had a very long drive for a client meeting. Akrim's care revealed an unrelated but extremely dangerous condition with one of my tyres. He insisted I leave the vehicle as he did not think it was safe for me. I would never have noticed this condition on my own. I had no reason to check. Without Akrim's genuine concern for me personally, my long drive could have ended very badly. Instead, I was driving a very nice and very safe vehicle provided for me as a courtesy at Akrim's insistence. Akrim and everyone at Howard Orloff, you've been great to me for 26 years!!!! Interestingly, I did not end-up purchasing a vehicle from McLaughlin, as I live out of state and did not need to factor-in service, customer orientation, friendliness, trustworthiness, etc. I will end up servicing my vehicle locally here in Arizona. However, my experience with Brian Cox was nothing short of outstanding. As a sales leader myself, I am hyper-critical of the prototypical "salesy" car salesman. My experience with Brian was the opposite. He worked to be a trusted advisor, strove to ensure I had everything I needed to make an intelligent decision, and went the extra mile to ensure my experience with Volvos in general was top-notch. Brian is the kind of salesman I'd want to represent my company - in it for the customer rather than to pad his own pockets. He's just a good human being. Undoubtedly, he will (or likely already does) have an army of loyal customers who trust his advice and enjoy his friendly personality. Thank you, Brian. If I ever move within 100 miles of Moline, I guarantee I'll buy a vehicle at McLaughlin and join that army.

Left with more problems than I came in with - unhappynow

Came in with urgent airbag message and left with urgent airbag message, urgent ABS message, wipers that wont turn off (they just pulled the fuse and left it in the fuse box), and turn signals that don't work. All this is the result of them just doing a diagnostic scan. I can go back and have them look at it again for a minimum of $600 - no guarantees on what the final figure will be.
