Worse customer service and customer loyalty I’ve ever - 5k lifespan on used cars

Worse customer service and customer loyalty I’ve ever dealt with. Purchased a car from the Waukegan location. Within the first week the vehicle had several issues, safety was a huge concern. Had several emails from the waukegan finance manager telling me he would fix the issues but parts were on back order. Waiting 2 months heard nothing. Upon contacting him back, he attempted to act as if he had been waiting on me all this time (Even though the emails proved otherwise) He has something against dealing with a Female,He refused to contact me directly and would constantly interrupt my husband at work. Tried to put me in a “complimentary” loaner that wasn’t fit or safe for the road (the entire steering wheel moved about and was broken) after I refused to put my life in danger, he refused to fix my car at all. He then provided an estimate and expected me to pay for the issues. I’m not paying for issues that his lack of attention caused. They then passed my calls around like a hot potato. They will block you out completely and accuse you of being irrational in order to avoid fixing their lemons. The only assistance I was able to get was from the head of Chicago Acceptance.

I was working with a girl by the name of Amanda which was very pleasant to work with, but final decision came from Claudia. I was offered to put $1500 down and $130 a week payments they wanted to place me in a RUSTED Ford Escape. Claudia stated that with a larger downpayment she can do better. I told her for that I would have my daughter co-sign. Her response was “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, YOU WOULD JUST RUIN HER CREDIT” 😡, WHAT??? How professional is that statement? Never is my 46 years have i been so offended. Why would she assume i would ruin my daughters credit, because my was so negatively impacted by a huge situation Claudia is not aware of. She made me feel humiliated and embarrassed.

My Brother-in-Law was helping me out with buying a car, and we both appreciated the transparency and felt like Martin stacked up really well compared to other dealerships we'd each bought from in the past. Also the car is absolutely superb.

I am a little late giving this review, but it was on my list of "eventually I'll get to it"! I flew in from Pa to purchase a car I saw on Ebay. I dont buy anything with just a picture so I flew in and went to see the car, then also paid $150 for the offical Audi dealer to look over my car (called "Used Car Inspection) Everything checked out and with the nice deal they gave me (cheaper than what I could get in my area) I was able to drive the vehcle home. The office was a bit slow to give my bank the documents it asked for...but that only took 2 weeks before it was cleared up! Very smooth transaction!

WARNING-Have a mechanic check vehicle before purchase - bpariroo

WARNING-have vehicle inspected by a mechanic before you purchase from Alliance Auto Group. I bought a Ford Raptor from Alliance Auto Group in September 2018. I took it to the Ford service center a few days after the purchase and they informed me that I needed to replace both lower ball joints and that the heater didn't work on the driver side of the vehicle. The ball joints cost a little over $1000. I didn't have them fix the heater. Even after replacing the ball joints, the truck rode very rough. I've put about 2000 miles on the truck since I bought it. Last week, the ride got so rough that I couldn't drive the truck over about 45mph due to intense shaking. I took it onto a shop to have the tires balanced and the alignment done. The guys at the shop asked me for the lug nut key to get the lug nuts off. I realized that Alliance hadn't provided the key, so I reached out to see if they still had it. Alliance let me know that they had several lug nut keys at the dealership that they had forgotten to include when people purchased from them. I asked if I could come by to take a look and they didn't respond, so I had to have the shop cut the lug nuts off the truck. This cost $150. Once the shop cut the lug nuts off, they tried to balance the tires. The shop was unable to balance the tires because Alliance had put cheap, remolded tires on the truck. Remolded tires are used tires that have had some rubber added. The shop explained that the remolded tires would not balance and that they would be dangerous to drive on. They recommended that I purchase new tires asap ($1500). They also informed me that the engine is misfiring and that the truck is leaking transmission fluid. Once I found out how many problems there were, I reached out to Alliance to see if they would help with any of the repairs or help me get safe tires. The sales rep rushed me off the phone and said he would "look into it." That was a few days ago and I haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, the truck is unsafe to drive...

You can not contact this them on the phone at all and they give you the run around when you finally talk to someone and then send you to voicemail. I just want my car fix which is under warranty I had to pay out of pocket because I need my car to go to work to pay bills. My next step is blasting them on the news and filling a legal complaint. I almost lost my job trying to get them to fix something that's covered in warranty and can't reach anyone. Please run from this place, don't purchase a car from here unless you are a mechanic and don't mind fixing your own car. I've been without my car for 2 1/2 weeks and still having been able to speak to someone.

I went here in March of 2009 to drive a 2002 M5. It looked beautiful and sounded like a million bucks. The salesguy rode with me, and only allowed me to drive around the block making right turns. This is an M5, I wasn't even allowed to get it above 40mph! When we got back, I was still very interested. I was up front and honest with them in telling them I wanted to check it out and talk to my wife. I know, every buyer says that, but I had cash in hand. He walked away to grab a camera so he could send her some pictures which was very nice. While he was gone I looked more closely and there were several imperfections that indicated that the vehicle had been in an accident. He denied it, but it seemed off to me. I asked for the carfax he said he had on it. He handed it to me on the way out the door. I asked to check on something (was going to compare VIN) but he said they were already opened after their normal hours and he'd be happy to call and/or email. It just didn't feel right. $22k for an M5 with 64k miles was a good deal I thought, but my gut said something was wrong so I didn't get it. Looking at these posts I'm glad I went with my gut.
