The staff in the service department are amazing. They explain everything in layman’s terms so you understand what is going on with your vehicle. They are all very knowledgeable, so you feel confident leaving your vehicle with them. They also seem genuinely happy to see you when you arrive, and in my case, they remember my name. Oh, and one of my favorite things (other than the staff) is that they wash my car every time they work on it.

My dealer was Jared and he was great and he and the rest of the team did a great job working with me. I purchased my vehicle a 2019 Chevy Trax on Memorial Day and to say the least I closed out the dealership that afternoon. They fed me and my daughter and offered us snacks. The finance team worked with my budget and my challenging vehicle request to get me a vehicle that was a better fit not only for me but for my budget as well. Thank you Jared and the rest of the team for putting up with my million questions on Memorial Day and getting me my new vehicle.

He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and personable—never pushy or intrusive. What really stood out was his honesty and transparency. He was straightforward about pricing and genuinely respectful of our time and needs. In the finance department, Jeff was equally impressive. He explained the available products like warranty packages clearly, without pressure or sales tactics. He was concise, efficient, and approachable—never making us feel confused, talked down to, or overwhelmed. The entire staff at Liberty Subaru in Libertyville, IL was welcoming and accommodating, even offering refreshments. We are very happy with our recent purchase of a used Outback Limited. Howard Marfell was our salesperson for over two decades. After he moved and left Uftring Subaru we were concerned about having to deal with a new person. Through a referral from a coworker, we went with Travis Doubet. Travis met and exceeded our expectations. It was only 1.5 hrs from test drive to leaving with our next Subaru. He is now our new "Not Howard" :)

Made a trip to Gerald as they had a pre-driven Subaru that we were interested in buying. We came to buy, but left emptyhanded. We checked before we left home, and the car was still available. By the time we got there, it was gone. We were told they had a very busy weekend and sold it on Saturday. I sincerely believe the car was never available, and this was an example of false advertising or bait and switch. We attempted to work with a sales person on a new vehicle instead, but he was terrible. Unenthusiastic, lacking knowledge, and just didn't seem to know what he was doing. I can't even remember his name, so not a good experience. We ended up purchasing a new Forester from another Subaru dealer that same day!

Knowledgeable, able to answer all of my questions. Friendly and not at all aggressive in their approach. Whenever I went to the dealership there were friendly but not pushy folks greeting me.

Found a used Kia online and went to this dealership to check it out. Was greeted by Devin. He located the vehicle I was interested in, and we went on a test drive. He let me check the vehicle out good after the drive, and he even helped point out things the dealership had done to improve the vehicle. Devin answered all my questions, was honest and helpful. I'm still in the market, may need a little time to buy, but I will certainly be back here and hope I can buy a car from Devin. I would highly recommend him.

I purchased a 2024 Forester today from the new sales manager Wilson and Rick his sales rep. I can say, without hesitation, that Wilson the sales manager of 2 months, Rick, Juan and Kelly made the transaction an unbelievable new car purchase. I am 80 years old and have purchased only one other NEW car from a dealer. The last new car I purchased was a Subaru from another dealer. The experience was a pleasant one. But it did not compare to the experience satisfaction, price or value of today's purchase. I live 140 miles away. I stopped into the dealership to purchase a gallon of coolant for my wife's 2022 Forester. I mentioned to Wilson that I would have a 2024 Forester, but the dealer in my town offered me a ridiculously low trade-in on a new one. Wilson asked what I wanted for a trade-in value. He had a potential buyer from 140 miles away and did his best to make sure I bought a car. I walked in for a $32 gallon of coolant and walked out with a $40,000 new car. I'm not sure where the dealership found the new sales manager.....but they better hang on to him.
