Absolutely the saddest people in the Service Department. It seems that they have mechanics who should be Janitors. Also they have Service people who want to text instead of calling. There Service manager wants to talk to you like he's your friend..It seems to me that the whole staff should be Fired...So So sad

Akrim A. deserves a great dept of gratitude from me. I had what seemed like a very minor condition materialize with my Jaguar the night before I had a very long drive for a client meeting. Akrim's care revealed an unrelated but extremely dangerous condition with one of my tyres. He insisted I leave the vehicle as he did not think it was safe for me. I would never have noticed this condition on my own. I had no reason to check. Without Akrim's genuine concern for me personally, my long drive could have ended very badly. Instead, I was driving a very nice and very safe vehicle provided for me as a courtesy at Akrim's insistence. Akrim and everyone at Howard Orloff, you've been great to me for 26 years!!!! I bought my V from Fields Jaguar in Northfield, IL. It was the absolutely the worst experience I've ever had buying anything from any dealer; motorcycle, car, or boat. They absolutely refused to do anything about the burned out lights, squeaky seats, bubbled tinting, scratches, etc. I mean not a single dollar off, not even a service manual. I hammered and plowed and hemmed and hawed and finally got a tank of gas with my purchase. Ha, a tank of gas. This was after hammering the general manager for well over a half hour. Then 3 days later one of the suspension travel sensors literally froze and cracked the shaft. I didn't even drive 100 miles and no rain or anything. I firmly believe they rigged it somehow, maybe a crap ton of wd40 or something I don't know. The rear diff fluid was severely low and the engine oil was extremely dirty. There was no pre-purchase service or anything...just a turn and burn. They were fairly rude and extremely unresponsive. I was sooooo pissed I had to go outside and sit in my car for a half hour to calm down before completing my purchase. The sales lady said "maybe this isn't the car for you" and I said NO, this isn't the dealership for me. And two days after I completed my purchase, I must have gotten about 20 calls to my number for an auto warranty, so they sold my info immediately. Why did I complete the purchase? Because it was only 1 of 3 total V black coupes I could find for sale anywhere in the US at the time. And I can fix stuff, so I knew I could fix the broken stuff. In the future I would run from any Fields dealership...period.

I bought a used car from them. Blind spot monitor didn't work because mirror glass was replaced with non-OEM. 9 weeks and no solution. .I wonder how this was missed in their used car inspection? Will they ever make it right? BUYER BEWARE!!

I was looking to replace my 2011 Mercedes-Benz and the Jaguar F-Pace S was one of the vehicles that I was looking at. I noticed that Imperial Motors had one that fit most of my criteria. I inquired about it to get their best price and a lease proposal. Steve Link quickly responded to my email and sent me two proposals that met my stipulations. He presented a competitive sale price, no money factor markup (I never pay a markup), and $0 down. He also agreed to match Carmax's trade-in offer. He was very straight to the point, putting forward their very best offer upfront. He was very responsive and upfront via email, and when I wanted to go on a test drive, he had the car ready very quickly within just a 30 minute notice. I sat on their offer looking at other options; I was also cross-shopping different makes and models. I appreciated that there were no 'hard-sell' tactics. No other local Jaguar dealership was able to beat Steve's quote on the F-Pace--none. Fields stated flat-out that they were not able to compete. Unfortunately for Imperial, I was able to negotiate a deal on a 2019 Audi Q8 that I simply could not refuse. If you are in the market for a Jaguar, I highly recommend inquiring over the internet and asking for Steve.
