I was recently in Honolulu and needed directions and stopped in at New City Nissan. Lisa, the receptionist was so helpful, friendly and kind by printing out directions for us. I used the restroom which was very clean. The area for people to wait while their cars were being serviced looked comfortable and clean. Being from Pennsylvania, I won't be buying a car in Hawaii, but if I needed to buy a car in Honolulu, I would buy it from New City Nissan. Just before Christmas I went into Autosource to look at a 2009 BMW z4. I've owned one before and of all the cars I've driven over the past 57 years, it was my all time favorite! Having retired a decade ago, I didn't see any means of purchasing or financing another one because of my low income and credit score. When I went in I explained to the salesman, Ray Wolmers, that I really didn't want to waste his time because I doubted that they could do anything for me, but that if he wouldn't mind taking the time I would like to give it a shot. In spite of that he was extremely patient and respectful. It took a little while, but working with Mr. Wolmers and the owner, they came up with a plan that was better than I was actually expecting! And to be honest I consider it a gift because there was no way it should have happened! I can't tell you how grateful I am for their willingness to go the extra mile (so to speak, lol) and make it happen - - and how happy I was to drive it home the same day!! At the time of this writing I've now been driving the car for about a month and whenever I've had a question, Ray has responded immediately. I couldn't be more satisfied with a sales rep or a dealership.

Received text message at 12:41 pm about tracking service status which is new to me. Would have been nice to know this sooner. Would like to see improvement in communication between Service Advisor/Department and customer. Appointments need to be adhered to.

Paid $1450 for a new radiator. Got a few miles out of town and my truck overheated. Had coolant all over the place. The mechanic didn't put the lower radiator hose clamp back on. Complete nightmare. I won't be back.

I moved to Oahu and needed to buy my wife a car. I purchased her a 2013 Nissan Altima from Waikiki Auto Sales then six days later it would not start. When I contacted the owner hoping for some sort of remediation, he told me it was "normal wear and tear... that's the cost of doing business." Fortunately, it was not an extremely expensive repair but no one expects to throw money into a car immediately after they purchase it. Waikiki Auto Sales doesn't even do their customers the benefit of checking minor problems before they sell their cars so you definitely need to bring a mechanic if you buy from them. The owner is the epitome of a stereotypical used car salesman.
