John Shaw to the rescue again! - Debj
John Shaw to the rescue again!! This time with my new 2024 RDX on 17 May. With all the construction going on in our area my RDX’s (I’ve had three over the past 12 years) have become “magnets” for picking up nails. Very frustrating. John’s assisted me with probably 6 different instances—a few only required a plug but the others required a new tire. This time, I had contacted John near to closing time concerning a weird thumping noise similar to a flat tire. Yet all the tire pressures were reading normal. John, wonderful as always, immediately said to bring it in and I said I’d be there first thing in the morning. Well, when I got in my RDX at 6am the pressure in my right front tire had dropped 2 points. So I knew there was a leak of some sort and fortunately made it from my home near xx Pete Beach up to Crown Acura before the pressure dropped a couple more points. The “low tire pressure” sensor finally clicked on just as I was turning into the Acura service bay. John was right there to help me and checked out my tires. Sure enough he found a huge screw/bolt on my right front tire and promptly had my RDX in with the mechanic to see if tire could be plugged—unfortunately it was punctured too far to be salvaged. John was great about getting the service done quickly and I was back on the road within an hour! John is so courteous and always there for his clients. I’m grateful for so many times over the past 12 years to have had John help me with emergency repairs and regular maintenance. Thank you so much!
